Was it right to sack her?
I believe she has the right to protest and speak out as anyone does, but wearing her work clothes brought her employees into it and fir this they had to sack her.
I also think she's wrong, just because her micro zone did not suffer it doesn't mean its not real.

So this "nurse" isn't actually a nurse but a care assistant in a nursing home. Not only that it's not a stereotypical old peoples home - it's for people with mental health issues and brain injuries.
What about the actual NHS nurses and Dr's? Are they protesting that it is a hoax?

You genuinely have to be thick not to realise how serious this is. Personally I wouldn't want her looking after a relative of mine, she's not fit to wear a uniform. [Post edited 1 Oct 2020 10:35]

That's pretty much how I called it. I would not refer to her a nurse at any point. The newspaper should have refrained from using the word nurse.
Nurses, in modern UK, generally require at least 3 "B"s at A level and then 3 years medical/nursing training.
A care home assistant, although a valuable role, does not require any qualification or medical training. |  |

Not only that, I've looked at the picture of her on the demo and she is carrying a banner that says some thing "we have spare beds" whilst wearing a nursing uniform. A care assistant is a bloody hard and underpaid role but this woman isn't fit to look after anyone.
I'd say she is deliberately misrepresenting her role as that of a nurse in an NHS hospital. That should be illegal as with a police officer.
It took me a couple of minutes to google her and the care home she works at to show she is talking nonsense but some people on here would believe her over 99% of the medical profession. |  | | |
