Why the fvck would you want a war when you can win so easy behind the jab. The first thing you were taught by Terry Grey in the Gwent Boxing Club ... "Boxing is to hit and not to be hit" [Post edited 7 Dec 2019 22:25]

Innit. Some think it's only a boxing match if 650 punches thrown each round. AJ thought a smart fight, used his superior skills to take away only chance Ruiz. Used the jab, something I've been crying out for the last few fight, landed cleaner shots and looked far better for losing weight. I'd say a Wilder fight would go the same way, but AJ will be able to land more shots.

Exactly, as long as joshua keeps his chin in he could beat both fury and wilder.

Ruiz has far better defence than Wilder. Jab would land easily every time. Clear points win for AJ if fought outside America; in America, AJ would have to kill Wilder, drag the body to Nevada desert and bury it... and he'd still lose by three rounds. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

AJ V Ruiz 2 on 23:13 - Dec 7 with 1417 views | A_Fans_Dad | AJ did exactly what he needed to win, although he didn't do it very well, no uppercuts, very few body punches, especially when Ruiz was completely off balance after missing. AJ could do with some training at the McGuigan training stable. He could probably do the same to Wilder, but not Fury.

Agreed. Decent performance from AJ, did what was needed. But doubt his chin would last v Wilder, and he wouldn't get close to Fury to use his jab and I think Fury would get a decision. Still, rather have AJ in the mix than Ruiz....guy was just a barrel of monkey spunk.

AJ V Ruiz 2 on 18:18 - Dec 7 by bluey_the_blue | You look at results due to an inability to grasp fights. Wilder knocked Fury down. Even with 10-8s in his favour STILL drew the fight. Face it, Wilder got a home decision which is why he refuses to fight outside America. |
Now then lets say what I said again, Fury was given a dodgy decision, the result was a draw, Fury was put down twice, he was also out cold the second time and a split second from being stopped but amazingly recovered his senses, the next time they fight it will be such a big ask for him to again survive for 36 minutes when he barely got through the first time, Fury has a better chin and is a far fair better Boxer than AJ, hence the likely outcome of that fight is that Wilder sparks AJ once he connects cleanly, I would imagine AJ will be to preoccupied with avoiding getting hit cleanly to offer much offence because quite simply in his mind will be one mistake lights out. there you go, and be thankful hat I threw a paragraph in at the end for you.

Once Wilder connects cleanly and he will, AJ will be koed Wilder is a one punch ko artist. Ruiz is not. [Post edited 8 Dec 2019 18:35]

Again, you're presuming he'll connect cleanly. You're also presuming Wilder will develop some defence and won't be jabbed to oblivion.
