"Six men - and it is all men".

Oh dear.

Each candidate's schooling mentioned.

It's a bear pit as predicted.

That’s the depressing part Bluey.

Right now, as always, the priority should be what’s best for the country at large. It’s all that matters.

There are huge swathes of this country genuinely struggling.

Don't disagree, Lisa, but like it or not, we're on hold until Brexit is resolved either way.

Raab. Who on earth takes him in any way seriously. What a f*cking idiot. He’s been grinning inanely all night.

Found it very overrated- Gail’s that is.
I believe she was born in Swansea (Sarah Vine not Gail!)

Their sourdough is lovely.

And yes, she was. I don’t think Gail Mejia was :-)

Why wasn't Boris there?

Because his handlers don't trust him to to answer questions for an hour or so without him f*cking it up.

They do think he'd be a good choice for Prime Minister though.

And he's a shit house.

I was disappointed with it personally. Try to pick up some from the market on Fridays. Whole meal sourdough baked in North Wales. Also an amazing Texan lady doing southern-style
Cakes and tex-mex savouries. No chance of seeing Gove or any columnists there though. Sometimes there is a Labour stall with the local MP.

Interesting to see what next round of voting brings.

Suspect Stewart will be bottom. He's not really shown anything at all. Gove will almost certainly increase his votes, he's the one tonight for me who came across as a leader the most.

Can see Raab votes dropping a fair bit after that.

Twitter says Rory won by a landslide tonight.

The best around here is a bakers called Laveli. But Gail’s is at the end of my road and I’m lazy. And I like their sourdough.

As with most people, try to cut down on the quantity of bread we consume, but when we do have it, I’d prefer a nice loaf than a Warburtons / Hovis type sliced from the supermarket.

Twitter isn't Tory MPs. Nor is it the Tory membership.

Maybe people are seeing things I'm not, but I don't see any leadership from him, don't see anything other than "hey, I'm a geek, I'm not a normal politician". As I said, this election has come too early for him because his views on Brexit are out of line with Tory MPs and members. Even leaving Brexit aside, I can't see him beating Corbyn. What does Stewart stand for, what are his policies? He's not a great orator either.

I say all that as someone who would have voted for him.

Raab came across as a blithering idiot, Hunt tried to play it safe, Stewart for the most part waffled, Javid was just there. The only one who came across as leadership material in that debate was Gove - like him or not, he's a good speaker.

The BBC debate will involve BoJo, it's the case for whoever's left to take lumps out of BoJo. If the point is looking for a BoJo and Corbyn killer, then so far the only one would be Gove.

The irony is that whoever wins will be in the same position as May. Unable or unwilling to either pass a deal or leave with no deal.

Come deadline day, don't ask EU for another extension.

What are Parliament going to do in that instance? It's a farcical situation where Parliament say "no, can't leave with no deal. We can't agree a deal to get behind and even if we did, EU may not agree." It just makes zero sense.

Parliament brings down the government and precipitates a general election.

And then yet more chaos, wastes months on an election only to get back to the same damn situation because Parliament can't agree anything... maybe we could reduce the fixed term from 5 years to a single year if that's the way we're going.

Depends on the outcome of the election doesn’t it. If leave with no deal parties win enough seats to get that through parliament, job done. If remain/second referendum parties get enough seats to get that through parliament job also done. One thing that’s blindingly clear is that the current parliament won’t allow leaving with no deal so either the policy has to change or the parliament does.

Worst case scenario is then leave without no deal parties win enough votes. Then it's back to the same old, same old.

Would the tories vote for that though? Don’t you need two thirds of mps for a no confidence vote? Not sure if the numbers would be there given their penchant for self preservation?

No you don’t need two thirds of MPs for a no confidence vote. Just a simple majority.

Incorrect use of comma?
It should be "that sorts it out" not "who sorts it out"?
