We need to save that money to make the head banger Hexiteers happy.

So now you are calling fellow fans “headbanger should ”? I think that’s appalling if that’s the case. But we get used to you having a go at Dale fans!

he will sit on the bench like zach clough did, waste of time and money, would rather see fabio tavares from the youth team get his place.
hill has done the pathetic cheap option again, rather than buying tom eaves, sam winnall, ollie palmer or even a james norwood.

Aye i agree, board showing no ambition refusing to sign 2nd top scorer in league one whos probably on more than our top earner..

I don't think any of those players are within our price range...

And it's only 3rd January.

Sure there are some extreme reactions on here, but most of them are from fans who've been lifelong Dale fans and are genuinely concerned. I would sooner listen to their thoughts and concerns than someone who thinks he knows it all after watching us for six months.

What the fud is a Hexiteer anyway??

I think it's a contraction of "Hill" and "Exiter".

Or summat.

Blackdogblue invented it.

Hexit is like Brexit but with Hill out rather than Britain out (or both perhaps who knows).

Why did they cover his face with a massive Dale badge? We still would have been none the wiser who the fook it was without the badge.

It's not something I am proud of as, I am still a Hill remainer, but I think I might have been the first to coin the term when I was posting a reply to MoonyDale and it was easier than typing "getting rid of Hill" when discussing the first Hill out poll. It seems to have stuck and slipped into common parlance now.

maybe you are right, but the money wasted on Clough, Wilbraham and Perkins was also out of our price range, the new boy fills me with apathy.

But we didn't pay fees for any of those, whereas those in Brookers' list would cost money before you even get to wages.

Plus, I don't think we'd be able to prise Eaves away from Gillingham somehow...

I wouldn’t say it was a mission, 20+ years of going home & away I have lost faith in his team selections and tactical decisions.

On paper at the start of the season new signings looked promising, just past the half way mark of the season the wheels have fell off again like last year and we are 3 points off the drop again. The responsibility for this is Keith Hill, he is our manager.

Sat in the stand on New Year’s Day my lad said to me if it goes 4-0 can we go it’s embarrasing summed it up for me...

Apologies if any offence was caused BDB - mission was probably the wrong choice of word - cause would have been a better choice perhaps and I know what you mean and fully sympathise with your position and how it has come about. Hard enough for grown men to watch the last 2 games let alone expose children to such an ordeal.

I still support KH and will until the end of this season. What happens between now and the end of this season though, will decide if he is still the right man for the job imho. I said in a post before Christmas that change was needed. We're getting it by the bucket load now and there'll be even more to come in the summer no doubt, regardless of who's in charge of implementing it. Strong stomachs are called for.

I am frustrated by KH team selection and the way certain players always get dropped after a defeat, and some would suggest that this is down to poor man management. We all accept that KH is stubborn and likes to prove he is correct and everyone is wrong, but I would not get rid of him.

I can understand the argument that things need to change and a new manager may improve things in the short-term, but be careful for what you wish for, just look at our neighbours Oldham and Bury, how many managers have the had in the last few years, with each manager bringing in their own players, then getting the sack after a few months because they were not winning. The result massive squads, wage bills and debts, and crucially relegation. Having said that, KH needs to realise the fans are p*ssed off with his absurd team selection, tactics and signings, KH needs to prove the fans that it is not a 'managed relegation' as one fan implied and bring in people ASAP that will A) keep us up and B) return Rochdale's football to the attacking game that excited the fans in his earlier years of management at the club. So I would give the time to sort out the mess, he as created and ensure vital club stability and to a degree, unity. It is now up to KH to respond to the fans fair and accurate criticisms in a positive manner.

To be fair to the Gimpster he's fairly consistent - everyone we sign is shite and everyone who plays for us is shite.

You are a complete fecktard sir. This squad that your messiah has assembled is League 2 standard at best , the two players fit for League 1 have gone and Hendo is the only other guy in there that could play at this level.
Dont worry we will beat Burton tomorrow since they will be waiting for City , so when we smash them everything will okay again.... smell the coffee pal.
