If he couldn't get into that Sunderland team what use could we make of him?

He’s played on the wing a few times and is still very young. Would be a good signing imo. Plus his wages would be a fraction of what Routeldge and Dyer are on.
Joel Asoro on 22:50 - Jul 9 with 7680 views | TailGunner | That boy is rapid. Big potential. Saw him run rings around Fulham at the cottage on the box end of the season. Do it.
Joel Asoro on 22:52 - Jul 9 with 7660 views | hobo | Happy enough with that. Sell Barrow for £1.5m and bring in a similar type of player 5 years his junior, for just 500k more

Problem there is we're still paying Dyer and Routledge. The wife can brag all she likes about the bargains she's picked up but I know we've got a full cupboard already. It'll just go to waste.

Wrong post.. and to chip in.. Dyer and Routledge haven't played at this level for years.. 42 game season, fatigue levels will hamper both.. fatigue = level drop.

Dyer and Routledge worth it for experience, attitude in training, Swansea stalwarts and more than good enough for the Championship. Joel Asoro 'He initially joined up with the Sunderland under 18’s but he only played one game for them before he got promoted to the under 23 squad. The 19-year-old played 23 games for the under 23’s, scoring three goals and picking up a single assist. (Not great! Me.) Following a mixture of this form in the under 23’s, poor first team form and a few first team injuries he got promoted to the Sunderland first team while they were still in the Premier League. He made his Premier League debut in a 2-1 defeat against Middlesbrough who were also relegated that season. The Swede has played on 33 occasions for the first team, mostly in the Championship, scoring three goals and getting two assists.' ( http://the72.co.uk/108800/fact/)

With those stats we should think about giving Jordan Garrick a run in the side this season. If nothing else we'll be able to flog him for 3 or 4 million at the end of it.
Joel Asoro on 23:56 - Jul 9 with 7317 views | omarjack | Bad news really. 2 m wasted on a very amateurish and useless "prospect" 3 goals in 26 matches is very poor in the championship. Wouldn't even make a good McBurnie back-up. I hope at least he can be deployed as a winger as he is a bit pacy from what I've seen of him (which I admit is very little)

Joel Asoro on 00:53 - Jul 10 with 7233 views | TheKirkyLife | I'm hesitant to judge too quickly as this guy was part of one of the biggest laughing stocks in recent football history. He's rapid, young and has one of the best coaches in Swedish football history backing him. Let's see what he can do.
