That's not exactly what happened.
There was no over crowding, the problem started with the two sets of fans standing close together in a 'neutral zone' per say. Once it all started kicking off, and Liverpool fans charged at the Juventus fans, Juve fans on their side were pressed and crushed against the wall, and many suffocated as a result, when the wall collapsed it actually relieved the pressure and let affected people flee for safety. Nobody was killed by the wall collapsing. | |
