No I don't watch it. If he has regressed from where he was to below the levels of Ki and Fer, with Cork as backup, I'd be amazed.
Berbatov on 19:56 - Nov 3 with 2118 views | Kilkennyjack | Berbarov - yes and keep him for the home games when we are on top and he just might score the goals neeede to keep us up. Out goal scoring is a massive concern. Who is even going to get 10 ? Answer : nobody.

Berbatov on 15:55 - Nov 3 by londonlisa2001 | Aye, the two up front have been banging them in... In all seriousness, one of our problems is Siggy. He loses the ball almost every time he gets it at the moment. The number of times any positive play is breaking down with him is quite unbelievable. We have to try something different there if it continues, however good he can be. |
Not sure I entirely agree, but there's some similarity to the same time last season when he was covering for Bafes lack of effort to close down the opposition defence. Siggy is charging round the pitch closing down players all over the place and covering and closing space off the ball. When he gets the ball he's often too knackered to do anything useful with it. We saw the best of him last season when he settled down a bit, looked for space and played more positive. I'd like to see him calm down and stop trying to do everyone else's running for them. Admirable though it is, it dulls his creativity

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/steven-gerrard-liverp He chased the money because he knows his legs are shot. MLS is generally poor - defending tactically naive - but the one thing you can't question about most MLS players is that they are athletes.

Berbatov (n/t) on 19:50 - Nov 3 by MattG | I thought Llorente and Baston looked good as a pair against Watford. If the consensus is that signing Berbatov would only be as a "two up top option" I'd put him behind both of those as a bench option so, barring injury, he'd barely even get a seat never mind time on the pitch. Saying that, it looks like Bradley doesn't like the look of McBurnie so who knows. |
Matt, my consensus is that we'd better start picking up points with the players we have, otherwise it wont make a jot of difference who we sign.

I'd definitely have him in our team. With or without his engine I'd prefer him to either of our starters on Monday. That aside, Ash's leadership qualities are as sorely missed as his defensive ones. Moot point though can't see him having the appetite for it.

Gerrard any day of the week. The bloke is a born winner. Can you imagine just having his presence in the changing room.

I'm pretty certain he did for Rodgers at the time.

I thought Brendan was far too 'nice' in the media towards him, gave the impression to me he didn't want to upset him.
