Bit similar to theirs then - that was also a VERY soft one. Did Canavan breathe on him? Also suspicion of offside for their 1st? Would have to freeze it when the ball is played.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
Definitely looks soft, does Davies get a knee in the back?
Id say soft in that Davies I dont think needed to go down......but what is their player kicking him for? Did he not see him and think he could get the ball? Barmy - especially in the 93rd min.

Same old argument. If you give a referee an opportunity to make a decision - he will. Both decisions were avoidable but had the effect of cancelling each other out, so we would still have had the 3 points.

1. Barceloaesque play down Dale's right set up Joey T to place an inch perfect pass through 17 defenders before a true thunderbolt from Camps broke the net.
2. Offside, cheating lino
3. Softy fell over, dopy ref fell for it.
4. You won't see a better cross all year, and a towering powerful header as Calvin rose 8 feet above the nearest marker to bullet the ball through the keeper, no stopping.
5. Brake ref gives penalty after 'wall thug MMA's Davies from behind in cowardly act of brutality. Hendo tricks the keeper to leave him sat on his bum as the Dale get fully deserved win.
Their equaliser looks offside. Their penalty looks like a dive. Their sending off looks unlucky for them Our pen looks fortuitous. Who would be an official?
Soft penalty but so what, God knows we've had some shite decisions against us over the years. Hope we can re create the result next Sat and I hope I haven't made a mistake picking Charlton away over Millwall. Out of the bottom 4, onwards and upwards!
They were saying on radio commentary that his 1st challenge was a shocker and could have been red. Pausing the 2nd one when Lund kicks the ball he get's caught very high around the knee - definite 2nd yellow minimum! Millwall's 1st goal was correctly onside - level when Gregory passes it.

The variety of comments on here re the various decisions just go to show how difficult it is for the officials :) The game is a lottery - but not just with regard to the officals, but also wrt the run of the ball. People are castigated when they have just been unlucky. So many top class managers on here :)
Our penalty indeed does look soft but look at the reaction of their lad, same with Canavan, both know they've f'd up. Davies didn't need to go down but it's that old argument, would he have got it if he didn't.
Whatever, in tomorrows papers it says 2-3 to Dale. 2 wins on the bounce and I love football again.
Also what's going on with Lunds grey hair just on the sides. He looks like Reed Richards from the fantastic 4.
In my opinion going off the video, both were pens but both were soft, their goal looked onside, certainly not enough evidence to give it offside, and yes their player deserved a yellow for that challenge, so was rightly sent off.
