...you've never been to but would really like to visit? Me, there's two or three but for some reason which I can't fathom, at the top of the list would be Pittodrie.
Been on a stadium tour of the Allianz but there isn't much to see when it's not a matchday. As it's a shared ground with 1860 Munich, Bayern can't put their colours on much so it looks very neutral.
Hoping to go to a game next month though, atmosphere always looks amazing on the tele.
Outside the UK I'd like to go to the Westfalenstadion, Bordeaux's new ground, the MCG and Delhi.

Find me on twitter @derbyhoop and now on Bluesky
Visiting either of the Dundee grounds would intrigue me given that they are on the other side of Tannadice Street to each other.
I took my eldest son to Dundee v St Johnstone when we were on holiday up that way last year. Good atmosphere and you can see Tannadice Park from the home end.
Would like to go back to Maine road, cracking atmosphere in the away end and the best meat and potato pies in the country, to many of these old grounds were discarded used to love going to goodison as well, the difference in attitude between evertonians and Liverpudlians is immense.
favourite cheese mature Cheddar. FFS there is no such thing as the EPL
As Konk will no doubt confirm, If you visit CC, make sure you pack some red chinos or mustard cords so that you blend in.
I was in the posh seats yesterday and didn't see a single pair of red chinos or mustard cords - standards are definitely slipping down at Fulham. It is a special ground, though.
If you like intimate grounds, you'll enjoy LR - bit of a shoebox and your legs will suffer, but it can generate a great atmosphere.
Loftboy - agree re Maine Road - stood on the Kippax a fair few times as a school kid as one of my brother's best mates was a City fan and used to drive up. That Platt Lane away end was massive too - I saw Leeds there in the FA cup with about 9,000 Leeds. Definitely one of the great British grounds. Went to Tottenham a lot as a kid in the early 80's as my family are Spurs, but was too young to appreciate the Shelf - would like to go back and experience that as an adult.
Been to most of the stadiums I've wanted to, but would love to go to any of the big grounds in Buenos Aires, Dortmund and Arbroath - been past it a few times on the way to Aberdeen and I love how close it is to the sea.

Anyone been to a game by any chance?
My brother and his mates visit Germany 2-3 times a year and they also go to a game or 2. Even the smaller teams have a great atmosphere in their grounds, according to him.Cheap tickets and good beer, whats not to like?
Fenway Park as well. Been following the Red Sox for ages now and have never been.
For anyone who hasn't been, Croke Park on a big GAA Championship day is a must. Atmosphere is intense and loud but friendly and safe. had some of the best and worst days of my life there.

Surprised to see the positives for Maine Rd. I never liked the place, nothing against MC but they should never have made the old away end all seated. Leeds 9,000, pah, I was once stood among nine Rangers in there....

Would love to see Fenway as well. The fact my wife, who couldn't give a shit about sport, has been there makes me even more ashamed.I have been to Wrigley though which is a great experience, feels like you have traveled back in time while watching a game there.

Doesn't matter where you sit at Fenway, cheapest bleacher seat still provides a good view but.....if you are in the uncovered section, bring your sunglasses. And, now I think about it, it's the most expensive stadium in North America, worth considering a home equity line of credit.

Wrigley would be great too. And Camden Yards.

Noted. Thanks Boston!

Thanks for that. I have heard tickets are outrageous. IS there still a waiting list for season tickets? Given the size of the fan base and the relative small size of park I am not surprised it is an expensive ticket.
The Camp Nou, of course, much closer to home and hopefully this season The New Lawn......... and of course any and all of the Ashes grounds in Australia.
‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’
As someone who likes a dip in the briny any time of year I had to google Arbroath's ground after Konk's mention of it's proximity to the sea. And that'll do me. Scottish League Division Two and the North Sea here I come (when I get a free weekend).
This also came up on the google search. Arbroath fan out of the sea and on to the pitch.
And who'd thought Louis Theroux was a lower league scottish football hoolie!
Now fascinated by Arbroath, I discover that to travel by train to Forfar Athletic one has to alight in the aforementioned town as it is the nearest stop on the line. Then a mere 15 miles walk to, get this, 'Station Park' home of The Loons.
Saw Arbroath play Stenhousemuir (it's in the book) Oct 31, 3pm ko, laughing about what a game would be like there in January. Next day went to Dundee Utd, match abandoned at HT, roads north to Arbroath cut off. Haven't yet been to Forfar or made a pilgrimage to Brechin City to see the famous hedge. On my list, Workington, Merthyr, Guernsey, Reims, Arnhem, Bari, Erzgebirge Aue, Red Star Belgrade,Belennenses, The Strongest in La Paz Bolivia, Mile High Denver, MCG amongst many others...................

I love Scottish club nicknames. The Loons is right up there alongside The Blue Brazil (Cowdenbeath).

I've a friend in Mount Pleasant, Providence, Rhode Island. The local High School, Mt Pleasant High's sports teams have the nickname , The Kilties. It hadn't crossed my mind that you could make a man in a skirt even more effeminate.
