Bit better than that effort on here the other day.
Genetically, paedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact. There's no real evidence for it, but it is scientific fact.

Scummers
Don't think any of them are cardiff. I think they are Spurs and Liverpool (not that it matters on a Wales related thread).

Correct they are not-James Dean Bradfield is a Forest fan and you may be right about the others.
Nicky Wire's brother Patrick Jones is a big Cardiff fan, but they are, and always have been, big supporters of Wales in football and rugby (they once listed the England Rugby team as villain of the year in NME)

JDB has worn a Cardiff rugby shirt on stage regularly, and has been seen down the Arms Park on several occasions. No love of the football club though, fortunately.

Get Mike Peters and The Alarm on the case. Never seen a better, more passionate band in live gigs. If they got to play before our matches we'd win the bloody tournament!

I remember him wearing a cardiff rfc Jersey on totp.
I think the tunes better than most football songs, but very cheesy lyrics.
I think there is always a danger name checking players in a song. Rod Stewart did it once , and it didn't end well.

Really looking forward to the Super Furry Animals Euro song. Was listening to some of the other songs for the Euros.
This one is a hell of a football song
And this one, not as good but more manics than the manics one

I'm not going to listen to the record, but Nicky Wire is/was a Cardiff City fan, it's no big deal really is it. It makes perfect sense, support your nearest professional football league team, no matter what division they're in, the way it should be. He used to go and watch the Bluebirds and the Cardiff Devils on a regular basis. EDIT--he is a tosser, Newport is about 2 miles closer, he should have supported them.

I heard it on Radio Wales this morning. Couldn't understand half of it (which isn't good for a footy song) and what I could understand was poor. Sorry, not exactly "The Swansea City Song", "Back Home", " Three Lions " or even "Blue Is the Colour"

What did you expect for the Euros? Three-lined adidas shirt, Ryan Giggs still bailing, fifty-six years of hurt, never stop us complaining.

One of the only bright sides of Scotland not qualifying these days is not having to cringe at this type of crap... Ally's army... Del Amitri... Dear god!
