7/6d for the double decker? Shameful.
I hope the fans walked out on the 76th minute.

Good find Dar.

Everyone in that parade must have been in stitches, what with Norman cracking his jokes.

Yes i think the score was 3 - 1, after the game Ivor gave every Leeds player a leather wallet & money in it as a thank you for playing in the game. The Leeds players returned the money to Ivor as a thank you for being asked to play in his testimonial.

If my memory serves me well we won 3-1 and didn't John Charles score with a towering header. I also seem to remember Jack Charlton not playing and rumour had it he didn't want to mark Big John!!

Wow, I would have traded them all to have Baron "Sir" Learie Constantine's autograph. He died a couple of years later but was one of the most influential pre war West Indian cricketers and became a major politician in support of the Windrush immigrants. Great find Darran. Have you ever read "Beyond a Boundary" ?

I loved sitting in that stand as a kid, everyone stamping their feet on the wooden floor and watching the north bank performing.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Reminds me of the kid that asked his teacher to spell 'tootle'.

Teacher said, 'Tell me the sentence, and I'll help you spell the word.'

Kid said, 'My Dad couldn't take me to the match on Saturday, because he was working tootle 10!
