Wins the ball a lot in good areas. Was missed badly in the Bournmouth game, I feel we could have more control of the midfield in that game if he had started and might have got more than a draw. For me Siggy is the first name on the teamsheet. I'd go with the same midfield again next week, same team more or less but with Freddy in for Bartley and Gomis in for Eder. |
Agree with this - Gylfi's workrate is just incredible, he's better than JJS from set pieces (the one corner yesterday aside) and can pick a pass. I'd stick with him and if JJS has to come in then I would say it should be in place of Ki who has been very disappointing the last few games. Up front, I'm still struggling to see why we haven't tried Ayew through the middle with Routledge and Montero out wide. The way Gomis and Eder have been going the last 2 months, it has to be worth a shot. | | | |
