Watched it but much preferred the original ("ET").
Up above I criticised the recently released oil rig disaster movie for its use of CGI. According to film critic Mark Kermode the props were physical, not CGI, which is actually impressive. Mediocre film though. [Post edited 8 Oct 2016 7:24]

Check out Restrepo, named after a killed medic, British director killed [in Libya], one of the gang [not in the film] got the medal of honour.
You might end up feeling sympathy for home side when watching it mind, seeing what the Americans were doing to civilian villages, one of them got the purple heart, the home side killed him, the film was as much about the effect on the American soldiers as anything else, for all their military might the Americans did not have it all their own way.
