I knew Gerry only got 12 (8 as captain, I think). I've had a few chats with him and the story of his injury is pretty heartbreaking. He might have been England captain for years. I probably would have said Les if I was pushed for a quick answer, but it is Fenwick with about 20 caps. One of which, of course, when he was roundly embarrassed by Argentina in 86... yeah it was more while they were playing for us - otherwise I imagine Wilkins is possibly our highest? Think Wilkins got 84 caps, Sansom 83, without looking it up. Seaman? | |
