Gloating 15:50 - May 5 with 12136 views | RogueTrooper | It lacks class, shows us up and generally takes away from the excellent work our team have achieved for over a decade. But it's so much fun, well deserved and couldn't happen to a more lower form of pond life. So without any feeling of shame whatsoever, I say to Cardiff City and all of their delusional, pig headed, shirt changing, so called fans, Get down to the lower leagues where you truly belong, you're not what you were and now have to admit that you are utterly inferior to the Swans. Looking back over your fleeting visit to our league has been like watching a pissed up aunt ruin a wedding, your on and off field antics were truly cringeworthy, the equivalent of trying to cop off with the best man, swearing during the speeches and falling on your arse on the dance floor (revealing that you weren't wearing knickers and had a tuppence like Brian May's plug hole) Good riddance Lots of love Roguetrooper
| "If you ladies leave my island, if you survive recruit training, you will be a weapon. You will be a minister of death praying for war. But until that day you are pukes. You are the lowest form of life on Earth. You are not even human furcking beings! You are nothing but unorganized, grabastic pieces of amphibian sh1t! Because I am hard, you will not like me. But the more you hate me the more you will learn." |

The original club/company doesn't. It was liquidated a few years ago.

Gloating on 18:43 - May 5 by reddythered | Again, a shirt colour isn't enough for me to proclaim "woe, woe, the club has been destroyed". Can't remember too many Rangers fans protested at the massive debts being mysteriously and bafflingly generated when they were dominant in a two horse division, to be honest. |
Which ever way you want to paint it, rangers fans would never accepted a re brand like cardiff.

Gloating on 15:58 - May 5 by jacksinceever | Saturday at the Liberty was an embarrassment. A large amount of fans more interested in gloating at Cardiff's demise than concentrating on our own (inept) performance. FFS please can we grow up and start supporting our team rather than worrying about Cardiff? Next season will IMO be a critical one for us and the team and our manager will need every fan behind them. |
Ok, but if someone wants to do that then who is anyone to tell them not to ?

But they were more than happy for the club to indulge in spunking away money to compete in Europe, in a piss poor domestic league which caused the club to fold and indeed has the replacement club in dire circumstances, correct?

Rangers are still in a mess financially without a doubt, but hell would freeze over before they'd accept a re brand like you lot.

But they'd rather potentially go out of business for a second time due to financial mismanagement, correct? If owners however changed them to red, there would be RIOOOOOTS though, so I guess that makes them great fans, right?

I doubt rangers would go out of business, massive club and even if they did, they'd rise again, unlike cardiff.

They weren't too massive to go out of business a few years ago.

Just saying that even tho they have horrendous financial problems, they haven't bent over like some we know. [Post edited 5 May 2014 19:32]

Well, yes and no. The Rangers of today is a totally separate club and company from the one that ceased to exist a few years ago. And that's just s simple fact.

Yes the company behind the club, how can it be a separate club, you're just splitting hairs. Probably for some legal reason the company behind the club has a different name, but the club is still there.

When Rangers went out of business whatever assets it had left (including the name Rangers FC) was bought by a new company which then had the Scottish FA membership of the old, now defunct, club transferred to it. The new club then had to start at the bottom of the Scottish league. Different club, same name.

Splitting hairs. There are many company's out there who have had to change ownership through financial problems court judgements etc, but the name stays the same, my brother works for a company with over 21000 employes around the world and that company has had a few different owners but still has the same name.
