Under pressure Leeds boss wants to bring "one or two" in but we all know that won't happen unless there is some positive takeover news in the next 72 hours! Warnock has agreed two loan deals though today.
That is the extended stay of Dominic Poleon and Zac Thompson at Bury until January 3rd. Although I have not lost faith in Warnock, this decision counters his constant criticism of the size of the squad. Overall I liked what I saw of Thompson last season and Poleon's pace looked a threat against Hull briefly and Forest, where he scored so I am baffled in all honesty.
Warnock today was linked with his old charge Clint Hill, the 34-year-old was a summer free transfer target but opted to stay at QPR for another year. With hindsight it was not a good decision as he cannot even get in their side and current boss Mark Hughes criticism of what he inherited from Warnock may bode well in Hill being allowed to leave.
It seems doubtful though given the precarious state of the takeover that Warnovk will be signing anyone until a deal is done.
