Underwear stand You can try to blame this all on the manager if you want and say reed has no fault but fact is it was his decision to replace a manager last year. It was also his decision to hire the current manager and it is also his decision to not fire him. He has been a complete failure on that side of his duties. I note that he blamed a lot of the woes this year on VVD when he left. Guess whose decision it was to not sale him at the start of the year? We currently have 2 problems. Our attack is horrible and was horrible last year. Apart from a few fluke results. We have been under 1 goal per game for 1.5 years now. Most fan knew we need to bring a forward in and an attacking midfielder. At the start of the year. Yet reed did nothing and that has been our main issue We also sold 2 starting central defenders, so reed decided to replace him with one only and so far he has been mediocre at best. Slow do not use his height well makes horrible mistakes. Apart from those, I guess he has done an job |

I think Les Reed have done a great job assembling a team for next year .... we are a hope of getting promoted next year |
| News Comment | John Aldridge Thinks Van Dijk Has A Nice Arrogance at 11:17:31
As everyone has said. Who cares. The fact is he handed in a transfer request saying he did not want to be here. But les Reed in his arrogance chose not to sell. So should we be surprised that he was not a motivated employee? The rest of the players sure looked like they had no problems with him and yoshii and hoedt both had said they enjoyed playing with him. It sure looks like you and les reed are looking for a scapegoat. I blame one person for this disaster. The guy who did not think we needed a striker a dan attacking midfielder and the guy who hired an untested manager |

Les reed’s head is in the sand. He has now got 2 transfer window to spend and he has not. If we are not out of the relegation zone and we’ll clear by the end of February. His head should be on the chopping table |

| News Comment | Saints V Brighton The Preview at 15:28:15
We have had problem scoring for over a year now. We are under a goal a game during that time and that has been under 2 managers. One of which are coaching another PL side, who is not having any problem scoring goals. I think the facts indicate that the talent level in attack and not defense is inadequate. We have now had 2 transfer windows to fixed this. And have plenty of van dyck money to fix it. Which could hav been used in August as well. It is passed time that the board and les reed shares in a large part of the blame |

| News Comment | Day 18 ! Can Saints Survive Without New Signings ? at 10:51:11
Considering that long would be at the top of the list of people being replace. I can understand his view. Our current striker scores once a year. Our midfielders do not even know what a goalpost is. Our best scorer this season (not injured) is a guy the author is trying to replace. Yeah I can see a few area (like 4 gk def midfield forward) we could improve on |

Sorry I don't think your poll means much, if we ran a poll to have my Dog replace MP... it would get 100% approval |
| News Comment | Day 15 Urgent Action Needed at 11:26:51
Les Reed did not think van dyck needed selling in August. He also through we have one of the strongest midfield in the league and he did not think we needed any striker in August why would we think he would do any different this window. I think another defensive midfielder would be great |

| News Comment | Saints and Liverpool Linked With Swiss Centre Back at 15:56:49
The time to buy an attacking midfielder and a striker was the last transfer window. And if we did not have the funds, we should have done some transfers. We knew the following from last year We do not have a midfielder capsble of scoring goals Our strikers - one get injured every 5 games, one scores once a year and one do not suits the 1 up front style. Now anyone we sign would want a relegation release clause. And would reed do that deal now, when he did not do it in August This has been a relegation level stuff up by reed. I would not be surprise if he continue the stuff up by signing noone |

| News Comment | Are Saints Going Blind In The Transfer Market ? at 11:13:01
I agree with the headline it looks like we are led by blind mice. Liverpool has issues in defense, they did business the very first day of the transfer period. Meanwhile les reed, just like in August sat on his hands thinking a striker that scored once every 300 days and attacking midfielders that cannot attach or pass or score goals would be enough. I think his delusional words were that we have one of the best midfields in the pl. while les sat on his hands, teams knows we are desperate and will raise their prices when we come calling. We are about to get another les reed special |
| News Comment | Saints At Tottenham Hotspur The Verdict at 15:22:04
Saint Nick you seem to have placed all our problems on van dyck. While I think he has been mediocre. I do think he has been our best defender this year and much less likely to make the mistakes that yoshida and Hoedt makes. The problems has been on the other end of the field My view is that if van dyck is the main problem. It should have been forseeable when he had to train away from the team and handed in a transfer request. Which reed had to take a part of the blame for. The problem in attack is also the fault of the architect of the team in not addressing the problems everyone can see last year From what I have read, van dyck absence from the team in the last 3 games is a product of keeping him healthy for a January sale. Unless you have inside info. I am not sure we can blame van dyck for it. Van dyck might have been an van dyck but most of the problems streams from reed |
| News Comment | Pellegrino Evasive About Van Dijk Absence at 05:39:29
As I said back in August. When someone hands in a transfer request and said they want to play in the champions league. It was always going to end badly in today's players world. Question is how many others in the squad actually supports van duck, because they might want the same in the future. Add to the fact that only a blind fool would think that we did not need a lot of help up front and we ended up with the disaster we have ATM and only 3 points clear of relegation. As I said back then. Heads should roll if we are in this position |
| News Comment | Saints Can Now Take On The Big Boys ! at 10:11:01
My saintaunt Did you actually watch the game. If not have a look at the stats and possession and shots on goal. It was poor finishing from city that prevented it from being a 3-1 or 4-1 scoreline |
| News Comment | Saints V Everton The Preview at 16:26:18
Since everton does not have a striker. We should win this easily. But because les reed was asleep at the wheel and did not fix up our attack. We would settle for 1-0. If we somehow manage to lose. I expect multiple people to be unemployed by xmas |
