David Lammy yesterday trying to defend him saying that unlike the previous PM who was a billionaire Starmer has had help to buy clothes as the country likes to see our PM dressed smartly. And that previous PM’s also got donations from supporters to buy clothing as there is not a clothing allowance for MP’s. Doubt Boris did given his attire. What utter shît. In my career I had to wear a suit and tie every day and I was not able to claim this expense on my tax return. Starmer is a multi millionaire. He has received donations from Lord Alli in excess of £18,000 for clothes and glasses, I doubt that I have ever spent that much in my lifetime on clothing. And yet I always managed to look smart. And he’s accepting these donations whilst hiding the true Labour manifesto whilst publication 130+ pages of not a lot. Meaning that a whole load of pensioners will struggle this winter with the axing of the fuel allowance and by the sounds of things millions more will lose their single person council tax discount. Never trusted two-face Starmer from the start. Never liked the bloke and hopefully he will get stabbed in the back the way that he has done to others. |

If people didn’t realise that he is the ultimate politician, says one thing and does another, keeps quiet when it suits him and will happily stab people in the back at a moments notice? Backed Corbyn all the way during the Corbyn years unlike many other Labour politicians who resigned to the back benches, didn’t say anything during the anti-Semite enquiry unlike many Labour MP’s who protested against the leadership and their stance and when the time came to grab power he was slagging off Corbyn immediately, banning him from the party the moment he had his chance. He himself will suffer the same fate once the unions are fully empowered, they will bring this government down quicker than they helped bring down the Callaghan government. |

Another vote for Slow Horses. Me and my partner have binge watched the first two series since the weekend. Absolutely brilliant. Gary Oldman plays the ultimate anti-hero. |

For the vast majority of pensioners that will be getting the increase of £400 pa but losing the WFP the difference between the two is TAX. 20% off the SP increase effectively as it will bring more of other income into the tax bracket. There was no mention in the Labour manifesto about scrapping the allowance and of course no mention about increasing IHT or CGT either. The latest today is that they have refused to confirm that the single person council tax discount will remain. And as for the £22billion black hole. Much of that has been created by them by giving into the train drivers and junior doctors, and no doubt after the TUC conference this autumn there will be quite a few more unions feeling bolshi enough to ask for inflation busting pay rises. |

Any redevelopment I reckon would be based on getting both the school land and also Batman Court. It will also depend on whether we could extend our a bit to over SAR. If in the unlikelihood we could get these three ducks in a row then possibly a ‘wrap round’ stand covering LR, SAR and the SE with possibly a reduced upper tier on the SE towards the ER stand, similar to the away end at Forest. It could also mean, if additional capacity is achieved to remodel the ER stand to something similar to the smaller end at Palace whereby the number of rows of seats are reduced but then with a double decker exec box arrangement. This way you can double the total number of boxes, reduce the issues with crowd traffic in the concourse. |

Liverpool waited for one owner to shuffle off their mortal coil before getting the chance to extend the Kemlin Road stand, they’d bought up all the rest of the houses by then and had them boarded up. Also there is a bit of a difference in the value of properties in Liverpool and W12! |

If the car is new then the dealership has to tax it prior to collection. That’s why you get the car price and then the on the road price |

Reintroduce the rule that goal kicks must be taken from the side of the six yard box from where the ball went out. |

The word cûnt derives from the celery pickers of West Brompton in the early 19th century. |
| Forum Reply | Dynamic Pricing at 08:50 3 Sep 2024
It was well known that Ticketmaster would hold back a good number of tickets for big events and place them directly on their own resale site for hugely inflated prices and when they were found out and the practice made illegal, they came up with dynamic pricing which is the same thing but at this time legal. Evidently artists can opt out of this……. |

I’m glad I didn’t get any tickets for Oasis. All this dynamic pricing that was going on and Ticketmasters excuse that the price automatically responded to high demand is total bullshît. It was the most obvious thing this century that demand was going to be huge and they knew that and the brothers Gallagher, greedy fûcking Mancs knew that as well. They have just totally ripped off their fans. Bit like PL football teams. Don’t give a fûck about the supporters, it’s all about the money. Cûnts. |

Yup. Nice to see them finally return to their natural level after 20 years of over-achievement. Hopefully little Chrissy will visiting the likes of Northampton next season. |

Assuming the link was about QPR when I first saw it earlier and the link didn’t work I googled QPR 31st August 1974. This brought up the fact that we played away to Luton Town that day with the result being 1-1. 50 years later……. |

A few years back on the front cover of a QPR programme which would show a picture of a certain player, who may have had connections with the opposition and who would be subject to an interview within the pages. One time it was Clint Hill, spelt in capitals with a rather squarish font, placed quite close together, so it read CLINT HILL , but you really had to check the spelling of Clint twice as the L and I looked suspiciously like a U. |

Agreed we totally dominated the second half but after we scored for some reason we decided that we wanted to emulate Southgate’s England and the chief culprits for me was JCS and Field. Both were shockingly poor today in my view. We have been told that the manager wants a high energy press but we aren’t getting that at all, Plymouth we’re playing through us at will until their first sending off. We need to put teams like Plymouth away with something to spare and had they finished the match with 11 I suspect that we could have been looking at a defeat. Agree, our forwards don’t take a gamble to try and get in front of their man in front of goal, too many times the ball went across the face without anyone attacking it. MOTM for me was Dunne. Was superb defending and gosling forward. |
