Finally! The revival after going 2-0 down shows what we have in the locker. Great new signings, we just need to start playing to our strengths. Special shout for Djnepo today who played his socks off.

Bednarek needs to leave always someone else to blame when we concede a goal.Really pleased with the comeback but couldn’t see it happening to be honest.l hope we can show the same spirit that we had at the end next week, and hope we get the starting eleven correct at last.

Who would have thought playing 442 with players played in their preferred positions and your best players on the pitch could work out so well? Let's hope Ralph keeps doing the simple things.

Well that was a perfect example of duff choices with the starting 11. Elyounoussi was never going to do anything and he didn't disappoint. SA same, Adams nothing. Aribo, Mara come on and presto a different team. Totally bad choices from Coco the Kraut. Nice to see a point taken but unfortunately will lengthen our great leaders reign. PS. Prowse, did he play?

All minus ratings from children will be most welcome.

Think today proves that we can't play three at the back, the space they had wide and on the edge of our box first half was frightening. First goal because no one knew who they should be marking? Second goal much the same!
Stu Armstrong, JWP & Ely didn't have a clue where they were positionally first half and Che was running his socks off with no support,
The change of playing style, as much as personnel, aided the comeback and we started to move the ball faster, throughout the pitch.
We have improved our squad, now for goodness sake play to it's strengths!

All the new signings looked decent if a little raw at times. I want to see how we would go if we were positive in our approach. It took a formation change and shipping 2 goals but finally we got there. Just shows that young players respond well when you give them license to play with freedom.

A nod to Djenepo too who while not perfect was disciplined and looked decent going forwards. There might actually be a footballer in there!

great fight back by Saints after a more defensive lapses. Bedbarek just is not quick enough for me nor has the skill required . The new lads did well . Why did Bednarek have his head in his hands after being subbed . He seemed very angry?

Whole lotta ball watching in central defence (with Bednarek chief among the spectators). Hate to say it, but five at the back invites attackers into the channels and spreads the back three thin; we just don't have the personnel for that. We can't keep playing that formation—and proved as much (hopefully once and for all!) in switching back to a back four. Meanwhile, kudos to Djenepo for trademark trickery, and A Armstrong for pace. Mara looks like he could be a real live wire; his late strike was otherworldly!

First half was scrappy with lots of tough tackling but little skill. Leeds scoring 30 seconds after the restart with some terrible marking from us was poor and then went two nil up again with poor marking. Game looked dead and buried and Leeds were over confident/ran out of steam. Saints came back very strongly with some good substitutions (at one point we had five strikers on) and scored twice. In the end a draw was a fair result. Happy considering we were 2-0 down and dead and buried.

Getting a point being 2-0 down after 50 minutes , a draw felt ok.
We still look bad when defending crosses, very obviously, but overall I thought we fought back pretty well.
Young Sekou Mara had a great assist for KWP's equalizer but we desperately need to add a proven striker to the group.

Well we did ok in the end. After watching the game, I am starting think to need to stop this 3 CBs and WB formation as it leaves us exposed in midfield. RH has got to see this. While it may cause him to drop Mousa, KWP on right and Parraud on left will allow more defense when needed. We need to go back to 4-4-2. Che, Djenepo and Lavia had the best games of the starters and AA and JA really pushed their defense when they had the ball. Don't know why JS was brought on, but all the other subs did their part to help us fight back. I know we have problems, but man glad we are not MANU, who are in shambles. Hahahahaha

I have to admit, I was very impressed with the new youngsters. Total commitment and signs of quality. What a pass from Mara for our second goal. Why wasn’t ARIBO on from the start? RH team selection was again questionable and as for three at the back, when will he wake up? Well done the newbies.

Che Adams was awful, failed to hold the ball up and only confirms that he is not PL quality. Add Elyounossi, Jack Stephens to the list.

Just a point of interest for all of you blaming Bednarek for our poor defensive performance, both goals were down to Salisu leaving his man!

Bawdrip added 13:52 - Aug 14

The comment re Che Adams is really unfair. He was a nuisance all game and played a big part in both goals. For the first he did a great flick for Adam Armstrong to run on to and for the second he brought the ball down well and shielded it before laying it off and we scored.

Not sure why Bednarek is getting all the negativity amongst the defenders....Salisu has just had hos second mare of the season
