American Dirt Jeanine Cummins. A heartwarming story about a woman who witnesses 16 members of her family shot down at the BBQ of her 15yr old niece birthday party. Because her jounalist husband wrote a story about the leader of a drugs cartel. She then has to travel through 6500miles through the bad lands of Mexico to the safety of America Being trailed by the cartel. I am never without a book and this is the best book i have ever read. I would recommend this book to anyone male or female |

Nearly word for word what my Spurs supporting golf mate was telling me on Monday. Also the discount he used to get for being a long term season ticket holder (25 yrs) and an OAP has been taken away for next season. He renewed but he seriously thought about not doing |

HQ about 5yrs ago. Cold day in November. Bloke sitting next me had his girlfriend with him she obviously didnt want to be there. She opens an Argos catalogue turning the pages and kept nudging him and pointing to something saying wat she can get for various members of her family and friends . He was so embarrased he kept looking at me. I could feel that he wanted her to shut up . She has never comebwith him since |

But it is being reported that Burnley are interested in taking Marti as their manager. At the moment Craig Bellamy is in interim charge along with Michael Jackson as his number 2 . The Burnley fans are very unhappy as Bellamy has no managerial experience and is considered too old at 44. They want a manager that can get them straight back into the prem next season and have highlighted Marti amazing achievement for us. I hope the board make him a worthwhile offer to keep him. Little bit worried money talks |

I was in a pub yesterday near Leicester Square with about 100 Dortmund fans. There was a narrow corridor between my seat the bar and the toilet . As i was on my way back to my seat A man was coming towards me carrying a tray of drinks. He had a Dortmund hat, scarf, shirt and a tatoo on his leg. I stepped back to let him through as he passed me he satd. " Cheers Pal" in the broadest Scottish Accent i was taken aback. Made me smile |

On Kilburn High Road about 20yrs ago. A car in front of me cut up a cyclist nearly knoking off his bike. At the traffic light the cyclist jumped off his bike and taaped on the window of the car. The driver refused to open the window. So the cyclist ripped the wing mirror off and scraped it along the side of the car , got back on his bike and rode off. I couldnt help but laugh |

Spot on about Gnonto. First time he got the ball as soon as a Saint . approached him he fell to the ground. I said to my wife watch him he falls over anytime anyone comes near him . 3 times in the first ten minutes he did, after that he was ineffectual. And what happened to the great Piroe or Summerville didnt see them making an impact. |
