I've watched this more times than maybe any other goal, even Bobby Stoke' s or MLT' s against Newcastle (the flicky uppy one - which was my favourite goal of all time). Just so utterly exhilarating.
Denis Lill! I knew him briefly when I lived in Chard. We were in a pub together once and in walked Craig Charles - I witnessed a Red Dwarf reunion type thingy. (Denis was in the 4 Horsemen episode) Which was nice ...........
Sir Ray Davies - now that I approve of. I love that man's body of work. Should artist's be knighted? Well we have a long history of it and Davies is right up there.
It is good but it has definitely dumbed down compared to previous "Life" documentaries. Possibly for the US or general numpty market. Narration much is weaker and yes animals escaping from predators seems to be the order of the day now unless the prey is "cold-blooded"(although let's face it, the giraffe and buffalo DID escape - unless they were hunted down again later!). Attenborough must be turning in his grave ........oh.....hang on....
A lot of the themes covered have been seen in previous programmes but now they are just filmed in a prettier way. Is this down to researchers being a bit lazy or have we uncovered everything that is gobsmacking about the big wild world now!! I think the series peaked with the racer snakes on the Galapagos - Episode 1- scene1!
It is perfectly legal to obtain something called Canabidol (CBD) Oil in the UK which some people are claiming to provide remarkable relief from cancer related pain etc. This is an oil derived from hemp. Research it Pat - may be worth a go.
