I stayed at my nans on a Friday night in Fleet St and went to swimming lessons in the old slip pool
I walked there and back
As a teenage cycled to Fall Bay from Killay , swam all day then cycled home
I wouldn't have dreamed of getting transported there
This is my point
By the way , don't some in Three Cliffs Bay as some have tried

Well it seems the case
A perfect land
I see kids getting collected in 4x4 s when they live 800 yards away
Every school is plagued with parents dropping off their young uns in cars as they don't feel safe walking
Imagine a 8 yr old walking to and from school with chums , like I did
It doesn't happen
Sadly , due to dickhead drivers , cycling to school is unsafe |

Seems like you're living in Nirvana
Kids are not off their phones long enough
They do not have the freedom we had
Why should they have to joins club to play
As regards swimming , our rivers are too polluted to swim in as are the seas
I recall kids gathering in parks all over Swansea to play football as well as mass games on the sands
Social media has killed their childhoods
