Elizabeth line
The planned strike action affecting Elizabeth line services on Thursday 27 February and Saturday 1 March has been suspended.
Elizabeth line services are expected to run as normal on these days.
The strike action planned for Saturday 8 and Monday 10 March is still scheduled to go ahead.
Live journey planning tools will update with timetable information as soon as possible, ready for Thursday morning, but until then customers can check our Elizabeth line timetables. |

Tears of woe at 86 cup final, relegation at Huddersfield, losing 4-0 at home to Cardiff days after that Vaxuhall Motors game, that was a very low moment and playoff defeat at Cardiff
tears of joy at Palace home in 1999 to stay up, playoff semi final in 03, Hillsbrough in 04, seeing us lift the old first division trophy against Leeds, getting to Wembley beating Wigan, the Bobby Zamora goal and the Leeds home game last season mainly due to how pissed I was [Post edited 25 Feb 14:27]

yeah another 2 hour commute to White City this morning which should take 40 minutes
It took me longer to get back on Elizabeth line after Millwall than it did from Portsmouth on Saturday
Hopefully Great Western are running the next 2 weekends or it's an expensive taxi to uxbridge for me |

I have no idea about exact numbers but think Cook, Colback, Frey and Anderson all signed on small wages for the first year to help keep us under the line for FFP and would then get a big increase in year 2 which won't show fully on the balance sheet until this time next year |

I don't mind us trying things in midfield and Chair as a 10 is something that could work for us but in games like Saturday it clearly didn't, I wouldn't give up on that idea just yet though but for certain games you maybe need a bit more steel in midfield than we had at the weekend |

I thought last week we had 4 players have their best game of the season, this week 6 of the team produced their worst and not a chance you get anything when that happens. Steve Cook was so poor at the back, he's looked very ropey since coming back injury
Clive's bang on about the midfield but even with Morgan in there we lose that game imo, the back 4 were all poor, Smyth and Frey offered nothing, it felt like a defeat from the minute they scored. |

pleased for him that he got those Cardiff goals and they were much needed for us as a club and for him as a player but I'm not sure he's got it to play at this level and for me we look a much better team without him but I hope he proves me wrong |

A lot of those games were early in the season. All logic points to we'll finish roughly where we are now which would be a very good season but there is nothing really to fear from the teams above us. I don't look at Bristol City up in 8th and think they are miles better than us.
Last season when we looked cut adrift I thought if we could cut the gap to 3 points or less going into the last month we'd have a good chance, is similar going the other way, if we have a good March and win next week, which is far from certain, we'll be in a pretty healthy position
I should add I don't think we will do it but it's nice to dream and the board has felt a bit negative this week considering we just won 4-0 |
