Michael Sheen and debt relief.

He does a great deal of good work locally that goes unnoticed and likes it that way. Not so long ago he got behind a successful project to save a local sports facility in the upper Swansea Valley. A really nice, genuine guy.

US/UK/EU - the way forward
at 19:57 6 Mar 2025

Imagine if we had politicians who did the best for us. Stuff Europe, stuff the USA, stuff the rest of the World and trying to set an example with global warming. Just look after the good old UK for a change and let the others come cap in hand to us. We should stop thinking we are inferior, we are not.

Yes we play our best players every week and rotate slightly in a 2 game week. It's only a couple of games until the break and then 5 weeks until the end of the season. We need a massive clear out and restructure in the summer, build from there when the management decision has been made.

Anyone with any sense could see it was going to happen. He is having an excellent season in the best defence in the league. A well deserved reward for CR.

Weekenders are important for this sort of devopmment. Many from Birmingham, Bristol, Bath, Swindon and Gloucester. Key target areas for Welsh tourism are put off by the length of time it gets to West Wales on a Friday afternoon. This is a fact not opinion, we need to improve our infrastructure immediately.

Many of our younger supporters should watch this to understand some of our clubs history. Well done for bringing it up.

Drakeford to Increase Income Tax in Wales?
at 14:21 6 Mar 2025

Drakeford is standing down at the next election (confirmed) abd he is just looking to go out with a bang. He has already achieved that with the demise of the Labour Party in Wales.

"so at what point do we have to change things to cover ourselves for next season."

In the summer, when the squad is restructured. Until then we play our best players. We don't even know who will be the coach next season and what system we will play.

Someone is playing childish down arrows because they lost an argument. They should man up and put decent arguments forward.

Not for me. Darling is still one of our best players by far. Whether we should have sorted out his contract sooner is a different story. Drop him for a player on loan definitely not, play our best team always, Cabango and Darling together are just that.

If they do it on higher rate taxpayers as in Scotland, NHS in Cardiff, Newport and Wrexham will find harder to recruit for higher paid positions. Other high spec jobs will move over the border. It's not so prelevant in Scotland because the highly populated areas are not in easy commuting distance to England.

In Wales the party with the most members chose the First Minister irrespective if they are part of a coalition or not, Its purely on elected members. It could get very messy.

I think Reform will be the largest party and who they form a coalition with depends on their manifesto in May. If they include a referendum on the Senedd it will rule out Plaid, but if they include an independence referendum within the life of the parliament Plaid would have to be in. We all know the outcome but Plaid would have to back them. This would also strengthen Reforms hand in the next General Election as they can show that they give the public what they want. Politics is a dirty business with many twists and turns to come.

Personally I think it would come down to if Sheehan wants the job long term. Previous he hasn't been keen although now he is prepared to discuss it. The last thing we want is him accepting it and regretting it.

Three weeks ago we would have been very happy to be considered a mid table side. In football things change very quickly.
