What would yours be?
If he doesn't change the formation still after Birmingham he is deluded, been calling for it for months.
Flat back 4 with bidwell and Naughton to keep us defensively solid with no protection infront of them on the wings, Grimes fulton and Smith in there protection roles infront of the defence, but hourihane then given the freedom in midfield to give ayew and Whittaker some service rather than ayew and Lowe getting none off the flat defensive midfield 3. Honestly if he doesn't change it tomorrow I'm done with cooper.

As my post in the 'team for cardiff' thread, the thing that needs to happen is a change back from the 5-3-2 formation, it has been found out and isn't working anymore, especially against sides like Cardiff that are all about just bullying down the middle. I can not believe we didn't go with 4-3-3 yesterday and get at them down the sides which has worked against them so many times over the years. This has got to happen in the next few games and is the only option around the lack of goals problem and poor performances. Just please Cooper open your eyes

Surely? 1 thing for sure is that if cooper changes anything bar maybe Roberts for Bidwell or the front 3 then he will show how clueless he is. He has 100% got to stick to that centre back partnership and that midfield 3, taken him long enough as it is to finally do what many have been calling for for ages. Everybody else could see for the dying need for Fulton alongside Grimes and I knew that Gallagher was best at 10 before he even signed so why it took a manager who supposedly should have known about him 3 games to work that out is beyond me. And as for the centre back partnership hopefully he's finally realised guehi and wilmott are to be avoided. To me now the only thing up for debate is the front 3 and 2 of bidwell/Naughton/roberts but feel he should stick with Bidwell and Naughton for now to try and finally get a settled back 4. Look it is not hard Steve, the starting point is to stop playing so many people out of there best positions. Gallagher hasn't become bad overnight he's just playing In the wrong position, Celina hasnt become bad since last season he's just playing in the wrong position, ayew hasn't become a bad player since the Cardiff game, he's just in the wrong position, Grimes hasn't become a bad player since last season, he just needs another central midfielder sat next to him who are not both number 10s in Gallagher and dhanda or Gallagher and Byers or Byers and dhanda, extra help cover the whole of the middle of the pitch. So here goes Steve, if you are so stubborn to play with no width, try taking them Square pegs out of them round holes and changing the system to fit the players you want playing into a system where they are all actually playing in there best/preferred positions, roberts better as a wing back, the centre halves safer as a 3, Grimes some extra protection with Fulton alongside him, Gallagher or celina in there best position at 10 and brewster upfront in his best position with some support of ayew who has showed on both occasions at the club that upfront is his best position for us. Yes a less attacking line up after no shots on goal last time, but watch how much better we would actually be going forward with our best players in there preferred positions creating and scoring while being more defensively sound at the same time.

Tickets go on sale Monday and for anyone interested in bargain travel, first great Western have a january sale on at the moment for the next 8 days only, where you can get a return from Swansea to London Paddington for £30, just select the time train you want to go on and then the 10.48 train home gives you plenty of time to get back to Paddington with it only being a short journey [Post edited 17 Jan 2020 21:05]

Is not good enough. Every goal I can remember has come from our left hand side, this is also due to celina being on the left infront of him. Really p*ssed off at the moment with team selections, it needs a right shake up, this needs to be done!!
