Even by Sports Republicās low standards this is possibly the most ridiculous signing in PL history. When your team desperately need a quality striker you sign a player with a long term injury record whoās injured and likely to be out for 4 months when you sign him

The fact is we had no-one in midfield capable of doing that and they did
Still at least Shea Charles is doing well in that role for Sheffield Wednesday
If Downes is injured weāve got f*** all in that position and to be honest Downes has struggled in that role

Agree Grumps. I think our strongest full back pairing is KWP at RB and canāt believe Iām saying this but Manning at LB
I think Manning has shown a really good attitude and is probably one of the players playing at the peak of his ability |

Iād like to see the real ABK back in the team. Probably give THB a rest and get him refocused as I think heās had a few poor games recently
I think an on form ABK, Janny B and Wood would be a strong CB three |

Yep I thought he was impeded too. I also thought he was taken down just inside the edge of the box when he took it past the West Ham defender but I doubt MOTD showed that one |

Spot on Grumps. Tall Paul had probably 6 or 7 attempts on goal. When was the last time a Saints forward got themselves into positions where they had that many attempts in one game? We also need someone putting in decent crosses. Most of the crosses he received yesterday were either behind him or floated crosses where it was difficult to generate any power.
He just needs that first chance to go in and the goals will come |

If Iām not mistaken thatās the first full game Onuachu has played
Give him an extended run and heāll come good. He just needs to get that first goal under his belt and he came close today. He held the ball up well
Heās hardly had a chance under Martin so heās going to be rusty and just needs a confidence boost

Hey Grumps, yes I get the feeling he wonāt take no sh*t from players but more importantly I donāt think heāll take any shi* from Sports Republic
Iām guessing looking at the predicament weāre in they must have promised some January signings to get anyone interested at all |

Whatever anyone thinks about the appointment of Juric weāve collectively got to get behind the team to the end of the season however results go
Juric has got an almost impossible job to keep us up. God knows what SR will do in the transfer window but the fact that Kevin Dansoās name has already been mentioned means they are unlikely to be giving Juric much of a helping hand
We canāt afford to have the bed wetters turning on the team if we lose three on a row and we have to support the team regardless if weāre to stand any chance
Personally Iād set the first target as beating Derbyās 2008 low points tally of 11 points and work up from that
