They paid £3 million for him with 6 months left on his contract apparently. I guess because he was a youth product they had to pay that much. Seems a crazy fee for him though. |

I'm with Gazza on this. I have many friends in LA so I do care about what is happening there but I don't need BBC sending me around 10 push notifications since it started. This would not have the same coverage if it happened anywhere else in the world (apart from UK of course). |

I guess given the current M.O from our CEO we don't know how long his contract lasts? Hopefully the club are working on a new one for him. |

Statman Jack on social said that QPR have beaten Watford more than any other team in the league (52 times). |

To be honest, I was more bothered about beating Norwich than Watford. I'm not sure what it is about Norwich but I see them as more of a rival than Watford. Watford are nothing. I am always surprised when Watford come to play at Loftus Road how much animosity they had towards us. It felt like they really cared about beating us so if anything it's more a cup final for them. |

Spurs is a move I'd recommend to him for his career. I see Spurs as the only logical place he should move. Especially with the managers brand of attacking football. They should be spending that money on defenders though. I can't see him being successful at Man City, he will be on the bench all the time and end up like Grealish. |

I agree with Wilkins, he's performances this season has been great and he could probably get into most teams in the Championship, he's played with us right back and centre back so he's versatile. I also think he could play DM as he seems fairly comfortable on the ball. He's such a threat with his head. He could get double the wages at another club, like someone pointed out he's 27 now. He needs to think about his future after football. Obviously I would love him to stay but the cold hard truth is that he could make a lot more money elsewhere and that's what his agent will unfortunately be telling him. Hopefully the club gives him an offer he can't refuse. |

He was a top player on Football Manager a couple of years ago so based purely on that it's a yes from me. |

I get that at work all the time, you can tell someone what they did wrong and it will still always be someone else's fault. It really bugs me. When did saying sorry become a bad thing? |

Norwich fans must be fuming. They already think it was us that got the ban for McLean, they will definitely blame us for this. |
| Forum Thread | Paul Nardi at 15:27 12 Dec 2024
Apologies if there is another thread about Nardi but I couldn't find one using the search function. I think I'm going to be liking him as much as Dieng if he continues to play well, but still early days. I'm surprised how old he is (30), he looks much younger than that but I guess 30 is quite young for goalkeepers. He had a really serious leg break only 12 months ago so to come back from that and be playing as well as he is, fair play to him. Someone with a terrible taste in music but is good with computers needs to make a save compilation for him. |

The Smyth attacking technique...use your pace to get in front of defender, once in front of defender either slow down so defender runs into you or run across their legs in the hope they clip you. If that doesn't work fall down anyway. Good cross for the goal yesterday though. |

St Pauli in Germany have left Twitter completely and now just using Bluesky. Hopefully it starts something but I doubt it. St Pauli are always a bit different. Surely there's some software out that that can tap into Twitter, Bluesky and Threads so that the club just needs to post something once and it appears on all 3. |
| Forum Reply | Bluesky at 10:52 12 Nov 2024
Yeah Twitter has become the same, because certain people with the blue tickare getting paid now there's just so much nonsense put on there to promote engagement. Baited questions to get people clicking. |
| Forum Reply | Bluesky at 10:28 12 Nov 2024
I get tonnes of unwanted stuff on Twitter, most comments I see on topics are Only Fans models completely unrelated to the subject matter commenting for engagement. The only followers/engagement I receive on Twitter are from porn bots. I commented something generic on an authors post about a book he released and I have about 20 likes on this comment, you click on their profiles and every single one of them is a bot. I am all for free speech but Twitter is too much, there have been numerous examples such as one of the Tate brothers repeatedly calling someone the N word yet there are no consequences. It's not free speech, it's hate speech. How are "so-called Liberal regimes" trying to shut down free speech in the Western world? It's funny how people on the right talk about this kind of stuff but then they are happy for books to be banned because it mentions something they don't agree with. |
