It’s well worth a watch. There’s an element of unfinished business at QPR for Warburton. |

Hindsight never loses, but he comes across really well in this interview for me. I’d love him back at QPR. |
| Forum Thread | Is this season written off already? at 17:33 9 Nov 2024
Knee-jerk thread. Almost definitely... Mentally, to deal with attending more matches (ST - F Block) I've already got us as relegated. I can't muster up the hope to start believing Celar is suddenly going to go on a scoring run, Madsen making a crunching tackle or JCS playing the remaining games of the season. I obviously want to be wrong, I like Marti, and will be at all home games supporting the Rs as always but anyone else adopting this admittedly pessimistic view. I know there are plenty of points to play for, and to lose 6 in a row (which we're close to) is very QPR. Keen to read the views of other LFW and QPR folks on how to approach the rest of the season! Tin foil hat firmly on! [Post edited 9 Nov 17:40]

A fantastic write up. As a season ticket holder that rarely goes to the away games, to the 1400 plus heading to gods own country, I salute you. Today, we just need to field as many players that have some courage and desire and will fully run and put a foot in. Absolutely maddening that these basics are where we are. But, mostly I fear today will be a shellacking and Marti could get the boot |

I think tonight is the night he’ll have lost some people. I’m not there yet but I’m not sure what he’ll do to turn us around. We look abject. |

My MOTM also. Has a decent vertical leap on him. Never gave up and has bit of zip and trickery. He could be a genuine option on the left wing. I liked that he never held on to it for too long. Released it at the right time. |

I sit in F block so SAR, but your description there and assessment of Kieron Morgan, was exactly how I saw the game too. I’d give Morgan a start over Madsen for the next game. You simply can’t play like that in the Championship. We basically had a 1 man midfield. Imagine what a better team would have done to us, it would’ve been a shellacking. |

I lost it at about the 85 minute as Madsen strolled about not wanting, looking or even getting into a position that might help and shouted ‘Madsen is making Dozzell look like Roy Keane’. [Post edited 20 Oct 18:25]

Agreed but his performance today ground my gears. |

Morgan Fox was responsible for their two goals and yet I’m thinking he arguably played better than Madsen! |

Well I am after that. Hate to scapegoat a player, but I’ve made more effort on the toilet than he did in that entire match. Pathetic and powderpuff |
| Forum Thread | Mood for QPR fans currently - Someone cheer me up! at 12:03 9 Oct 2024
I've tried to live in ignorance to the current downward trend at QPR, but I've just listened to the latest W12 pod, featuring LFW's very own NorthernR. As podcasts go, I really like this one and regularly listen to it - so not a dig at anyone, but I've just had it in the background at work and it's left me thoroughly gloomy re QPR. Bigger things in the world to worry about sure, but pretty much all of the points Northern and the others made I agreed with. Nourry's hands off approach with the fan base, his real lack of experience, Cifuentes only talking to official QPR media outlets, and not appearing at the Fans Forum... then add in the current recruitment and how we are playing. Someone cheer me up please. Bring back the flat roofed pubs thread. U RS! |

Whatever it’s trying to be right now, it just isn’t working. We look horribly disjointed. But there is still a lot of the season to go. Although, that was a pretty cold, miserable and, empty night at the back of F block. Agree with other poster, hate to single a player out, but Santos had a torrid timw. Ashby needs a run at right back if Dunne is playing centre half. [Post edited 1 Oct 22:24]

I too hate these 12:30 and like others, my son has Tae-Kwon do and football clubs Saturday morning. I have a ST and sit with my dad, who often works half day Saturday. We might be a couple of dinosaurs in attitude but we’ve decided to sack off the 12:30s for the time being. Apart from the inconvenience of the time, the atmosphere takes a hit too. |

I didn’t mind Lyndon but I think it’s time we all try something different now. Oddly, for me his biggest flaw if ever there was one, was his general averageness in attributes. Decent in the air but no Helguson Quicker than Frey but hardly a speed merchant Could put it about but didn’t enough Not a natural finisher but good if he didn’t have time to think about it Interesting to see if that’s that or we can go in the market for one more attacker |
