I was shocked by how poor Varane was in his first game but fair do’s he’s got better every time Ive seen him. Let’s hope his rate of improvement continues.
I call this a no contest. We’d scored 2 goals at the same stage last season compared to 6 goals currently so we’re clearly creating more chances. It’s also highly questionable how much football Dykes is going to play this year baring injuries to Birminghams other stikers.
Frey outstanding performance. Madsen needs to drink a couple of strong coffees before he steps on the pitch. He’s a bit too sluggish. I’m getting definite Sinclair Armstrong vibes off Lloyd - strong runner but not entirely in control of his feet. I’d rather see Kolli given a chance on the left if he’s not loaned out. Overall a great team performance.
This wasn’t meant as a dig at you! It was simply adding to the glossary of LFW phrases. Sounds like the COVID I had a couple of weeks ago. Knocked me out for 72 hours
I’m not in the habit of believing too much I read on Twitter but occasionally you come across something that stands out a bit and this was one of those occasions. A poster who exclusively posts about Dykes was steaming about his treatment by the club and stated that he’d been paid off and that it had cost the club a lot of money. That Twitter account jessiejones1338 has now been deleted. I’m not the only person who thought it was someone close to Dykes. It was on a conversation on the below Twitter account @SM24_06
Sadly all the comments that were made about the transfer are now not accessible because, as I said, the account has been deleted. Which is odd in itself.
Sam @SM24_06 Seems like this is a burner of someone close to dykes. Looks like the club have wanted him out all summer and have then scrambled at the last offer to get him off the wage bill #QPR

I’m not saying I know the details of this. I am merely passing on what I read. It is possible that the club have paid off some and not all of Dykes’ contract, which would save them money.
Because the club wanted to get its, allegedly, highest earner (who wasn’t performing well enough) off the wage bill? If true I’m sure someone’s done the math.
I’ve seen it said that we just paid up Dykes’ remaining contract to get his wages off the books and that the £1m was paid directly to Dykes as a signing on fee. Not sure about the signing on fee bit but I can see us paying up his contract to get him off the books. If true, Dykes has made a fortune out of this move and the club haven’t made a penny!
My daughter in law has to assess people with mental health and specifically ADHD issues. Diagnoses are going through the roof. The drugs for ADHD also have a black market value and some people are gaming the system by saying the right thing in order to get diagnosed, get the drugs issued which they then sell.
He’s held the ball up, brought others into play with good distribution that has kept attacking momentum and got into good positions. He’s also retained possession in difficult situations under pressure. I know it’s only 45 minutes of football but he looks streets ahead of Dykes.
Well if proof were ever needed that we all see the game differently. I don’t think he looks like a professional footballer. He’s stinking the place out.
We’ve got to get in their faces in the second half. We’ve become passive again. So frustrating. I know he’s scored but I’d bring on Celar for Frey for a bit more pace and mobility.
I’ve thought this for some time. I’d be surprised if a deal wasn’t already in place and that is what is funding our transfers in. Nourry clearly not wanting to pay over the odds for players with their teams knowing we’ve got x amount of money in the bank from selling Chair.
The fact we’ve brought Saito in and already have Kolli playing in a similar position to Chair just all points one way as far as I can see.
