Supposed to be flying in this week for talks if an agreement with his parent clubs materialises. So if you see a disinterested chauffeur at the Heathrow waiting area picking his teeth and with a sign saying "Billfold",you'll know what's happening.

West Ham look set to miss out on the signing of Inter Milan striker Ishak Belfodil with London rivals QPR set to gazumph the Hammers.
The East London side have been locked in talks with the Algerian international’s agent for a number of days now but an agreement has still not been reached. QPR have been on the trail of the 23 year old for some days now and according to reports in Italy, are now in pole position to land Belfodil.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp was cagey when asked about the striker earlier today, saying: “He’s a player again, that has been linked with West Ham as well.
"He’s a player we were interested in, but I’m not sure where it’s at, at the moment, I’m not certain where that situation’s gone as the chairman was dealing with it."
West Ham are believed to be holding out for a loan deal and Belfodil’s former club Parma, who own 50% of his economic rights, are refusing to sanction any non-permanent deal, with the Italian side in line to receive a cut of any future transfer. The R’s are prepared to pay cash up front in a permanent deal and are now the frontrunners in the chase to land the pacy forward.
The former Lyon striker is also understood to have rejected a move to Serie A side Udinese and has his heart set on a move to England.
Playing for us in Championship over Serie A for Udinese. Mmmm. Wonder what his motivation might be for that be?

Well yeah, but maybe it's because other players have identified R's as a stepping stone like Remy did?Maybe some will like it so much they'll stay - as long as they don't end up climbing the stairs at the Old Bailey.
Must have lost out on Ntep then , another one we were favs to sign
Ntep had said he wasn't likely to make a decision until the end of the month so it makes sense that the club are still looking elsewhere rather than pinning all their hopes on something that might not happen just as the window closes.

Take the risk. Hopefully we will win over Ntep. It all seems a bit complicated with this deal for Belfodil because of all the co-ownership crap over in Italy. Seems like Parma want a permanent move whereas Inter aren't so bothered. Either way both will bring talent to the squad.
Let's be honest, this move has got trouble written all over it.....
RFA
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
Gianluca di Marzio writes on Sky that Belfodil is close to join QPR:
“The mercato is moving at Inter and Belfodil is standing with the bag in his hand. During the last few hours, QPR have intensified their contacts to get Belfodil. The player appreciates the destination and Parma has given their acceptance for a loan. The negotiations are ongoing and could be finished any time soon. Belfodil is going towards England and QPR are expecting him.”

Looks like R's may be slipping further behind?West Brom may be on the verge of ditching Anelka and getting in a replacement.
He is 6.3 ft, if we can't start scoring from corners and set pieces now with him dunne hill and austin we need to worry.
ah, the football fan and his contradictions:
'why can't we score goals from set pieces more often?' 'i can't believe we conceded from a set piece. that's just sloppy, it should never happen. no excuse.'

I always say 'Pah! We never score from corners..' whilst everyone gets excited in the lower Loft, just to annoy the gods and have them make a fool of me.
