If players are being picked on merit (which is the right thing to do) then they've not got a good enough squad despite spending £100m. Even we never got tonked by Man City over 4 games. [Post edited 26 Nov 2013 17:39]

Gets on and does the job. Obviously wanted to stay at Spuds, but AVB didn't want him. Their loss is our gain. He appears to give 100%, and certainly looks the part.
Two things - Have many Spuds fans and they all seem to think that AVB has had a fall out...Vertongeneneon..Cb playing at LB...the others not good enough ?
