Am guessing that platinum season ticket holders make up less than 10% of the ground. If it's only available to them, then would've been better to just mail them the scheme rather than make a splash about it to all supporters when most are excluded from it.
And that's not a rant from me, just a bit of pointless marketing. |  |

I'd assume they either:
A. Want to make the supporters (non season ticket holders) aware that they can use that website to buy tickets
B. Have to give Viagogo publicity to make it worth paying whatever they have paid for their 3 year partnership with the club.
Either way I agree that it seems pointless as I doubt many people will use it. Probably just a way of making sure season tickets bought by wealthy people, who only intend on turning up to the big games, can be re-used. |  | | |

I was looking forward to being able to resell my sons for the midweek games he doesn't make or the the ones I'm not around for.
Would make the whole season ticket v empty seats issue go away too.
Such a small ground and needs to be filled with actual people to get the best out of it.
Wouldn't be surprised if they want to roll it out accross the ground and just can't for some administrative issue or another .

I'd find the service handy as a backup.
I missed five games in total IIRC (holidays and family commitments). Athough I've got half a dozen mates who will take up the spares I often end up having to chase them to commit. It all gets a bit time consuming for me. And on two or three occasions my boy's seat ended up empty - which is just plain wrong. I just had to give up. |  |

I work shifts and therefore missed 3 home games last year. I usually let a mate have my ST.
My concern also is who will be buying the tickets. You`d hope that only genuine QPR supporters would be able to get their hands on them, and hopefully not away supporters or tourists. |  |

not sure how they can stop away fans buying tickets with this scheme though
ive bought tickets for gigs from there before and all they want is money and your address ?

If it's done by the club then they could organise it so only members or people with a purchase history are able to buy them. But seeing as it's an outside company it will be whoever stumps up the cash. It's easier for the club to do it this way but would work better if they did it themselves. | | | |

Im not so sure this sits too well with me.
Its kind of a buy-to-let attitude to season tickets.. you have the money upfront you can purchase a bit of Loftus Rd real estate and can then let it out.. got the money upfront?, youre in
Can imagine rich Man Utd / Liverpool London based fans going for a ST now and just selling on the games they dont want and turning up for top six games only.. one of the things that made it prohibitive to non QPR fans has just been removed
