Terrible. Sadly a lot of this has to do with politics, religion and tribalism. Reports are saying this was organised behind the scenes beforehand, so may have happened regardless of the result. There was trouble at another game in Cairo last night too.
Football hooliganism, if you want to call it that, is apparently rife in the Arab world, but it needs a tragic scenario like last night to get world coverage. |  |
