He’s a good manager with a very tidy record. In his first job, he gave Watford their best finish in several seasons and he did a good job at Burnley who he got punching well above their station. Everton are in the doldrums and, let’s be honest while they’re a big club they certainly aren’t top 8 material.

I can see what you mean. I just did some googling and he’s reportedly on £5m per year 😮 and the 6th highest paid manager in the Premier League. Guardiola is numero uno and reportedly on £20m while Slot is 5th highest on around £6.5m. | | | |
