Feel the same way - I think Inter have played a perfectly decent game. Done the sort of job we'd have been happy with at this stage against the favourites.
One example of rolling around but not even any more than that I don't think.

Apparently the winner was wonderful. There I was thinking it was lucky how the ball fell to him after hitting the Inter player on the backside. I would have scored that.

I was struck by how emotional the City players were after the game and I find a lot of them perfectly likeable. Perhaps because the match was so tight, the moment of victory seemed overwhelming for them, and for a few minutes I was able to ignore the fact that they are are earning obscene money paid by repulsive and corrupt people, and see De Brunye, Haaland and Grealish et al as extremely dedicated and talented young men who had just reached the pinnacle of achievement in the game. Any footballer would dream of that, and I found it moving to witness. | | | |
