Mick Beale has just posted on his Twitter account his support for Glasgow Rangers in todays old firm derby. As the manager of a different club, my club, is this right? As a QPR fan has commented on his tweet - “It’s like being cuckolded’. 😂

As long as we win today, with teams like WBA and Burnley drawing last night. He can Twit/Tvvat away all he likes.

Smells like a trout farm in here

It's not like we'll be playing them in a hurry. I'll let it slide.

They might be wanting to spend top dollar on a No 9.

It's a former club, same as MW had shirts on his wall.

I think it's where Mick got his first job as a no2, so much as I prefer the green mob, we have something to be pleased about.

Really?

I'd be quite happy and not particularly shocked if Warburton tweeted good luck to us if we were playing Chels in the FA Cup.

It's not like he's wishing Burnley good luck against West Brom.

It’s a pretty niche thing to attack him for.

Consequence of doing ok on the pitch I guess.

If that upsets people then I would humbly suggest that social media perhaps isn’t the best place for such sensitive souls.

Quite a few of us QPR fans follow Rangers as our ‘Scottish club’….so no problem for me at all.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

But some of us very much don’t.

Wins for both Hoops today please.

I suppose he has an excuse having worked there.

Btw, the "old firm" died with Rangers in 2012. They are a new club now and its the Glasgow derby.

Likewise, and we’re better for it.

Think the OP needs chill. Offer MB three points in Wales over a Glasgy Rangers win, and we all know the answer.

I'll never forget drinking in the old Bush Ranger before a pre-season game we had against Celtic one year. Like nearly every pub around the Bush it was heaving, everyone in hoops having great craic.

This guy walks in, fully kitted up with Glasgow Rangers shirt, hat, scarf and flag. Everything seemed to stop for a few seconds and I thought to myself "this fella's either got his Rangers badly mixed-up or he's the hardest cùnt I've ever seen." - must have been the former as he walked straight back out the door.

I detest both Rangers clubs, so I agreed with the Op momentarily.

But then I read this, and I agree with it 100%.

I’m quite chilled thanks. I just don’t see other managers doing this and wonder why he does it. Personally I don’t think it’s appropriate but I seem to be in a minority of one. So be it.

I’ve no time at all for Glasgow Rangers, but have no issue with MB doing this at all.

He had two happy & successful years there that were the making of his career, and odds on he’s still got friends there.

Plus they play in a different country! I prefer Barca to Madrid, but if he’d had two good years at the Bernabeau and wished them luck in the Classico, no big deal.

Thought that myself.:)

Growing up I got asked if I was Rangers or Celtic on a regular basis so would always answer St Johnstone.

I couldn't have named you one player but nor could the tit asking the question, so it worked well. I still have a look for their scores when I remember.

Or he could mean the original Rangers that died after liquidation in 2012 and the replacement club Sevco Scotland.
