Maybe it's more to do with the length of close season? If we'd been in the playoffs there's no way we would start pre season then. As it stands by June 18th the team won't have trained together for nearly 6 weeks. Makes more sense when you think of it like that. |

I always thought that contracts expired on 30th June, not the 1st.
I believe that players that will be out of contract can start talking to other clubs from the 1st.

Thanks for posting. He's certainly a very well respected coach and seems to me the best of the bunch. There will be questions about him handling being no 1 for the first time, and working under a board that wants to get its own way but, nonetheless, I'd like to see him with us. |  | | |

Whether he is best of the bunch time will tell. He’s certainly the most interesting candidate and is a departure from the QPR norm. I hope he likes a challenge! ;) |  |

Well that all moved rather quickly - cautiously optimistic about this one. If we can get him in this week that gives a couple of weeks to think about transfers before pre-season starts.
