Feel sorry for their fans and the local businesses that’ll be hit by this. Always liked Macc. Got talking to a group of their fans at a Buxton game a few weeks ago. I think they’ll be spending a few more afternoons down there!...

There are a couple of kids in their academy that we should sign, one of them is a stiker, cant remember his name off the top of my head but he looks the real deal
The striker is Tyler James and he may be on trial at Huddersfield and from all accounts he is good and also a youngster (Roco Fregapane) who can operate at left back or left side of defence, and he had just signed professional terms.
I feel sorry for them, in that they have a owner who as refused to sell and who according to the Macclesfield fans, he as milked the club to fund his lifestyle, and leaving them in the position they are in now, deep in debt. Some of their fans, claim that is why he refuses to sell. When will the EFL say enough is enough with these dodgy owners.
The fans would love to take over the club and run it as a fans owner club, with the doddy owner no where in site.

He'd definitely fit in now. But yes, may have been 2 of them?
I watched a few of these Macc U19 games in the early part of the lockdown (dont ask!) and they seemed to have put together a decent squad, one of their games was against rochdale and there was a midfielder who looked very accomplished on the ball if , like so many of our kids seem to be , a bit on the short side. Check out Macc 7 and !! here: Edit its U16s I think

Sorry I meant dodgy, it is sad that you can make a joke at such a sad time for the Macclesfield fans, as a Dale fan, I hope it never happens to the Dale that we are taken over by some owner, who uses us to line their own pockets.

You might want to pay more respect to Macclesfield fans going through a sad time by posting with greater care, it was littered with errors
WHen you see how much other clubs owe, to be wound up for £500k seems a bit harsh on the fans and the town.
Moss Rose is a perfect building site for creditors. I hope the fans can galvanise and save it. Maybe we could use it as a training ground for a fee in the meantime to keep it going.

Thats Rochdale Development squad that play at Hyde, not the Academy
Despite the pain felt by fans at this juncture, there seems to be a refreshing ability to understand where they're at and what they need to do, i.e. if any appeal fails, start again a few rungs down the pyramid. I wish them well, and suggest bury fans take a leaf out of their book in terms of humility and realism
