His confidence is gone. He had that attempt in the first half and couldn't get it past the keeper. After that, he didn't have another shot and when through on the keeper he squared it - badly - rather than get dug out by the fans for having another attempt go wide/miss/saved.

The crowd were willing him until the miss but he fed off the nerves in the stands more than anyone else, Imgram excepted.

	It's always noisiest at the shallow end
