Have to say, p!ss poor man management from Harry on this one. He only needed to last two more days and we'd have him all season. Redknapp seemed to be going out of his way to make it absolutely clear Simpson wouldn't be playing in his new back three. Except we all knew he'd revert to a back four at the first hint of danger. I never really fancied him as a full back, certainly at this level, so I have to be happy with his departure given that we've got money for him and given that we have a replacement. We seem to be doing the right things more often now. It's an incredibly tough league but we're giving ourselves a chance in the longer term. |  | | |
