John Beck: Swans Will Be Too Much For Us Sunday, 11th Jan 2009 15:45 Histon coach John Beck expects the Swans to be too much for his side Beck will see Swansea City close up on Tuesday when the Swans travel to the Glass World stadium for their re-arranged FA Cup tie. The first game fell victim to the weather just over a week ago and for the victors there will be a trip to either Ashton Gate to face Bristol City or Fratton Park to face holders Portsmouth in the fourth round. Beck has seen Histon already carve out victories over League One sides Swindon Town and Leeds United this season but he is playing his mind games by saying he believes the Swans will have too much for them. Beck twice guided Cambridge to the quarter finals of the competition and knows all about cup shocks even if his style of play has never won him many friends in amongst the purists of the game. Speaking in response to preparation for Tuesday's game Beck said "I have fantastic admiration for the way that Swansea play. "It's real continental stuff. "I think they're going to be too much for us." The game on Tuesday night kicks off at 7.45pm Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
