City Charged By FA Friday, 31st Dec 2010 10:10 Norwich City, along with Hull City and Sheffield United, has been handed a charge by the FA for failing to control their players. The charges relate to a game between Hull City and Sheffield United and Norwich City and Sheffield United. It shouldn't take a legal eagle to point out the common denominator in both instances. Sheffield players were at each other's throats almost right from the kick off, and so it was only a matter of time before the dirty, cheating northerners turned on City. There has been a picture in the national newspapers, showing Andy Quinn landing a punch in Russell Martin's face. Only two days earlier they were at it with Hull City, suggesting, to any right-thinking person, that the culpable party in both cases is Sheffield United. Now, in all other cases, the sinned-against party would be let go without charge. However, this is the FA, and if they can steal a few thousand pounds from a club, no matter how, they will do it.
