Hands Off! That is the messgae from Carrow Road as speculation about Premier League interest surrounds Norwich City's start striker, Grant Holt.

A six-worded statement was the reply to questions from the press. Quite simply said: "Grant Holt is NOT for sale".

City supporters can breathe a sigh of relief at the news. And, for the first time in over a decade, this reply seems to be convincing.

Unlike the statements regarding Darren Eadie and Craig Bellamy. There is a new ambition at Board level, and already we have seen how the Board supports Paul Lambert in the way they paved the way to sign Leon Barnet next month.

Grant Holt will be bolstered by the speculation of interest from Premier League clubs. Already finding his form for scoring goals, to know tht he is now considered to be a top level player, rather then Division One fodder, will give him a tremendous lift.
