It helps that Pal is playing much better than he was. MF has rarely had to rush over and cover him in the last few games. |

Thanks Clive very informative preview and oppo profile. I'll be pleased with a point, very pleased with three. I expect some fresh legs in the starting eleven both today and Saturday. |

I was at that game and seem to remember Best was subbed and never played for them again. |

Good luck to Mr Speedie and hope he doesn't let himself be swayed by the home crowd. |

All that walking to pick his arrows out of the board, I'm surprised he could make it through the VIP terminal to his first class seat. |

I'll second that and well done to Plymouth Argyle for their decisive intervention. |

It would be their best opportunity to find a buyer, if that's their aim. Who knows what would happen then. I wouldn't say no either but there would be a lot of pain and not only with likely results. The crowd would change as tourists, hangers on and opposition fans buy up tickets and dilute the atmosphere for our team. |

That's very speculative on your part. How on earth do you know what's going on in his head? |

A truly great player. I'll overlook the playing golf on Saturday 30th July 1966 so he didn't have to watch the crowning of the auld enemy. RIP |

I took it that he was pretty annoyed Brian. He said he had never been hit for six before and that he wasn't happy about it. He's not Neil Warnock.😁 |

I thought he defended his decisions very well. He puts his trust and belief in his players and, if he is to get the same back from them, he has to demonstrate it by giving them opportunities. He has, on a few occasions, rotated the squad for league games albeit not to quite the same extent and not with the keeper. Unfortunately, we were undone by individual errors which may well have happened to any of those that were rotated as well. Fortunately, it won't have affected the confidence of Jimmy Dunne. The squad have had a clear week to put it behind them and get back the positivity that they have been demonstrating recently. |

Crikey, I can remember him playing for City in the late 60's with Bell, Summerbee and Lee. He was a late developer, if I remember correctly. Came into the full time football league at much later age than most. Still can't believe he was 90. |

SE is purely a figment of Clive's imagination to drive up hits on his website.😁 Addendum: before it becomes a fact and/or gets me banned, it is made up, a lie.🕊️ |

So if teams play in Europe, they should use even more of their huge playing staffs to fulfill domestic cup replays that clash. Play their development players if necessary. |
