but the roof hasn't come in, he made a mistake, it cost us a goal and he then got his head down and played reasonably well after that. I've not seen that much criticism of him to be honest

He made a mistake against leeds but it didn't cost us the game, they battered us, a goal was inevitable.
Saying Dunne made a mistake for the 1st goal, which he did, is not an assault on his character or anyone saying he is dreadful, he just made a mistake which he knew straight away as he had his head in his hands. Cook could have gone to the ball but the damage was already done |

It's a bit like tv companies and newspapers will have obituaries made and written for The King & Queen, Prince William etc in case one of them passes away suddenly. The likelihood is they won't be used for a long time and will need updating every year but you make them to prepare.
These things don't get made in 5 minutes they would take a while to do and in Clives case when he has a full time job it makes sense to prepare these things just as I imagine he's already dome the History column for the next 4/5 games already rather than wait until a day before to do them, if the game gets called off he can use it another time.
None of this means he wants Marti to be sacked or that tv companies want the King to die, it's just part of their job to do these things |

His body language, his tone during interviews and his reaction to the new signings on the touchline tell a very different story
of course in public he backed the new signings, he's not going to come out and slag them all off, he's still publicly backing them today |

It would be very much like the owners of this club to sack the manager after arguably our best performance in months.
My personal view is that the club will spend this week sorting out his replacement and Marti will be gone after the Watford game with new man in charge before we play Norwich |

I wouldn't be changing manager and Hunter has pretty much said what I think on the issue but I did find his change yesterday taking off Smyth and playing Ashby as a right winger pretty bizarre |

not at all I'd keep him and I really hope he stays but we've won 1 game all season and it's December next week, we've sacked managers for a lot less. |
