I hate it when pubs don't open on certain days and/or times.
I remember when you could hardly get in a pub in Hammersmith. Especially if they had a diddly-diddly band on. |

Teetotal is a strange word, I used to think it was a mispelling of tea, but the bloke who set up the first antibooze society in Victorian times was Dicky Turner who had a stutter. When he gave a speech he would call for t..t..total abstinence.
Thus the expression teetotal.
