Thought I'd give a bit of balance from an opponents view. Saint Gerrard, don't blame the away team for your own shortcomings. Opening day last season you beat us at home comfortably, this season I thought your performance was insipid. Considering it was your managers first home game, there seemed no urgency in your play, with very little quality. Poor game I agree, but I honestly believe we had the better chances, especially in the second half when our new forward came on (who incidentally looked miles better than either Long or Pelle) I genuinely hope you do ok as I think what happened to you in the summer was poor, it goes to show clubs like ours will always have a ceiling, good luck for the res of the season |
