I know there are some very good young goal keepers playing in top flights around the world, but last season I think we all knew it was likely to prove a huge mistake playing a 19 year old keeper in the Premier League.
Coupled with a defence that has picked up where it left off, he will continue to struggle. Obviously he’ll have to improve, but looking at the alternatives, he’s our number one, so I’m backing him. |

I agree that Alex McCarthy has had a few howlers recently and he’s been getting done at his near post for years.
I disagree that he made a blunder for the first goal, it was a good save and it didn’t matter where he pushed it, Leicester players were everywhere. Pretty similar to Bednarek’s goal and we’re not complaining about that.
I do think we should put Fraser in now though, at least give him a chance. |

Almost fully agree, every team we face finds a way to score against us. It feels like we’re getting to the stage where it’ll take 3 goals to get a win.
I don’t think Gary Cahill for 20 minutes at a time is the answer, games can be gone by then, and Phil Jones is not good or reliable. But you’re right, a leader with experience is needed. |
