Is Clive Myrie too " careless" to be a big earner?
at 20:05 4 Dec 2024

I have just done my tax and to help keep stress low I have been vigorous to the nearest penny with my return.

Clive it appears missed a reported £145k of his earnings in this report £65k elsewhere. He has acted quickly to apologize and declare he will no longer do this outside work.

She followed in her father's footsteps and appear to the outsider to have joined parties to get into power rather than any deep political convictions.

Her father has represented Labour PC and Conservative. She represented PC and Conservative party

Getting into power is the objective it seems.

The Trust have £1.3m in the bank. Just saying. Not sure if they can pay the coach company with their constitution.

I had a perception the RoI women were not so good but in fact they are a strong side with a string of good results . They only lost 0-1 to the mighty England so it was good result.

Portsmouth Matchday Prog: The Trust
at 14:47 4 Dec 2024

Many people including Trust members and supporters envisaged total disaster when the club got relegated. Falling down the league and shutting the academy.

Some predicted that the owners would asset strip and put the club into administration.

Instead they stabilised the club and gave Cooper the tools get into the play off twice. Unfortunately The Danish guy at Brentford club with no parachutes was better than Cooper with the who who's of top English talent. Guehi, Brewster, Gallagher, Gibbs White plus Gyorkeres.

Failure is the norm for football. Success is the exception. Only 12.5% can be promoted.

Levien and co have written off £69m and handed the club over to good people who have £20m to invest. They did not sell for £20m with no money to spend.

It is not easy and Levien has accepted he is not able to do what is needed. Coleman has persuaded him to hand over the reigns.

The "good riddance" posts from fans is inappropriate. The fans group have turned themselves fro big players into irrelevance.

In the Toshack era Swansea could not even sellout the Vetch for some first division games. 14,000.

If Levien has a bad senses of humour and a vindictive streak he would have handed over the club to the Trust.

BBC football have a piece on the same subject explaining why some footballers have reservations. This included ex Swansea footballer Marc Guehi. I accept the removal of the poll.

Levien and co were good owners who failed. They are such good owners and people they have bitten the bullet and handed the club over to their associates to see if they can do better.

They could have handed the club over to the Trust but that would have guaranteed administration.

It is my opinion all the mistakes were made by the Trust board who were not cross examined by the freewheeling members. The board member stated the shares would never be sold. Not one of the 1000 + members said anything.

Democracies only actually work if people care about what they are voting for. Fans are never wrong in their minds.

It is clear that if you do not accept mistakes you can never learn from them. It is always someone else's fault in the eyes of losers. Levien has not blamed anyone else.

Yes Zabret. Taken in his mid teens he had potential but he failed to kick on. Kilkenny talks about Dan James and Mcburney and they were sold for around £35m.

That paid for a class one academy for SEVEN years allowing the club to harvest the best Welah kid available.

OMcB is way better than any Welsh 6ft CF. Cullen is the best and found the Swansea no 9 role a bit heavy a burden to carry and is slipping into the no 10 role. He is not strong enough and cannot head the ball.to be no 9.

Zabref did not block anyone ..Swansea CoE or academy have never produced local goalkeeper. If the club had developed a non Welsh keeper of quality he would be in the team today. Benda came as a youth but Margetson preferred Woodman under Cooper. Martin preferred Fisher.

There is a good group at present. Evan Watts Ben Hughes and Kit Margetson.

It is not a waste of money because the club is going for best available and hang on to those not good enough. Zane Myers
Leveritt Rishesha Akande, Joe Thomas etc

The waste would be investing in local lads who were never going to make it. Only Cotterill of those on loan will make it I suspect.

Cooper sacked
at 16:18 3 Dec 2024

Why did Brighton recall him then? He was on a season long loan and Brighton were not impressed by his game time. Had Cooper told them he was in his plans and COVID was the reason he would have complete his year.

Cooper wanted Keinan Davis and was perfectly happy to send him back. Davis cost roo much or did not want to come. Morris and Arriola came instead.

Cooper messed up.

There speaks a person in public service perhaps? With certain employers you cannot get sacked without doing something badly wrong . In my world you can be sacked for doing a poor job and do not have to have avoided doing anything wrong.

Boy George has not been cancelled and he has been convicted of some very serious crimes of a very seedy nature. The great Gobber Carragher goes from strength to strength.

Rod Stewart says his wife was humiliated. This is presumably part of the shows edge. Anne Robinson was humiliating contestants for years. I never found it amusing but many did.

The Police certainly take people court if they are the target. This consideration does not extend to humble polite Welsh people and families it seems.

This is because Welsh people accept this filth and even engage in it. I cannot say it is because they are stupid because they get upset about that and call it an 'insult'.

Swnsea city do not talk about "zero tolerance" anymore. I wonder why. Is there creeping acceptance and perhaps a dash of cowardice.?

I just point out that there are no similar examples anywhere in the world. The Spurs fans are a special case.

I do care where the players come from and I suspect many non flag waving fans do as well. If the team had 7-8 talented Welsh players doing well the crowds and interest would be bigger.

The Toshack era saw Robbie James, Curtis and Charles all come from lower leagues to the first division. Stevenson and Marustik followed.

I only watched the show a couple of times and there seemed to be an element of innuendo in the whole thing. I am aware of giggling at the "flabby bottom" for a failed flan.

"That's life" in the past did this sort of thing for laughs.

That is Govea (Equador) off to Cardiff along with Lissah and Kyrell Wilson.

You may have noticed the hot Welsh players are struggling g big time. Congreve and JT are finding league 2 too tough for them.

Cooper and Cullen are now only coming through 4 years after leaving the u21. Cabango emerged at an earlier age.

Wales do not produce forwards. Hartson was the last powerful CF and he chose to go to Luton.

Henia and Nzingo along with Wilson are closest to the first team. (all ineligible in your plan),
Woodward is showing promise in the u18. Iwan Morgan walked and dropped out of the Welsh u19 squad so not deemed to be ding great by them.

Ask the Trust to sponsor the Women's team's shirts.

Use the Welsh name for the Women's team Dinas Abertawe.

The shirts sponsors name of the shirts at Derby were illegible.

Check that the all-surface facilities agreed under the stadium deal have actually been built and advertise this good work. I do not know if this has been done or not.

Make close relations with US teams and send players injured but Now recovered to get game r time over there. This summer Ginnell, Njoe an On, Parker. Also Abdullai who is not getting game time.

Get answers from the academy why they have not produced goalkeeper or centre forwards of quality.

Sack Anthony O,'Connell and Wyndam.

Inform the fans that some of their chanting are ethnic slurs and as such illegal. Bring back zero tolerance.

Allow fans to buy shares in the club to fund the academy. Norwich did this a few years back.
