One game that doesn’t get mentioned much was Manchester City at home towards the end of the 1975-76 season. I remember it as a very tight, tense game. There was a full on old fashioned punch up involving pretty much all the players with Asa Hartford being sent off. At one point a Man City defender passed back to his keeper but accidentally chipped him only for the ball to hit the bar! It seemed like it was going to be one of those days until Dave Webb popped up in the box to flick in a header. Cue absolute pandemonium in the crowd as we thought we really were going to win the league. At least that’s how I remember it as a 10 year old! |

Dave Thomas scoring direct from a corner in 1970s Phil Parkes scoring against Leicester in the same game but disallowed for offside! Punch-up in game vs Manchester city 1976 - incredibly tense game won with a Dave Webb header and the ground went beserk A man called Jim Grotty offering to leave to go to toilet v Leeds 1976 cos we always scored when he went out. He didn't get down the stairs before Stan got the 2nd Having to look under our seats cos someone behind us lost their false teeth celebrating a goal! |

I think that there are endless uses for this clip. For example it makes a great ringtone for your phone. Also I'm a GP and I have already started prescribing it to my depressed patients. I warn them that the dose required is high , it must be viewed at least 50 times a day. Not sure it works for non- QPR fans, but don't care! I just admire the fact that Phil Parry managed to say something remotely coherent when all I could manage was to scream "yes" repeatedly whilst hugging my 12 year old son. |

Agree that Mbia played well today though he is completely mad. His antics when fouled are crazy, his challenge in the 94th minute was ludicrous. He is a liability but you have still got to love him. Never thought I would see someone outdo Diakite for sheer brain explosions. |

Agree - 2nd half was the best I have seen us play for some time. Created a heap of chances, should have had a penalty and only let in the 2 goals because of goalkeeping/defensive lapses. Got to play 2 up front. I would be happy to see Zamora start and come off at half time. |

Completely agree CockRHoop, I thought the 2nd half was the best I had seen us play for a long time. Because we played 2 up front. I want to see either Zamora (for a half) or Remy (hopefully fit in 2 weeks) to play up front with Taraabt. Also, think Granero should play - I have thought for a while that our only real chance was to get our 'class' players performing somehow. But I know that it is too late and we are down. |

I agree that over the last few games he has shown signs of improvement when I had totally given up on him. However, he still avoids running at defenders and putting them in two minds. He just plays the simple ball, opposing defenders knows what he is going to do and so no space is developed. Good for first 15-20 minutes and then nothing. I thought he should have been subbed for Hoilett at half time. |

For what it's worth I cannot understand why Faurlin is not playing either. Absolute quality, I would love to see Granero, Faurlin and Diakite on the field together - I don't care what the formation is! |
